Everytime I go to this location and the lady named Luz is there my order gets messed up. She is very unsanitary. (She'll go from handling cash to handling food without a handwash) usually I'll just ask someone else to serve me and all it's OK. But this last time when I asked for someone else to serve me I was told to get out of line, even though one of the other girls was right there next to her because I'm in the often enough that they all know I don't like her handling my food. I called corporate and got an apology and was told that the area manager would call me in the next 3 days. I love the food and everyone that works there, just not someone that doesn't wash their hands. I'm beyond upset that I was told to leave. I eat the a lot sure to how close it is to work and home. But I guess I'll have to start eating more 5 guys which is right across the street. I've tried doing the survey's and they do absolutely no good. So we'll see if corporate can do anything.
So finally got an answer after calling corporate from the district manager almost 2 weeks later. Was told they are coaching her and found out she's a manager 😱 the lady kept asking how she could make it better then said she could meet me in one of the other locations like Gainesville. That's like an hour and a half away. So if Luz is there when you go to get your food, you may want to make sure she's washed her hands of you value your health. It's sad because this is an area that is full of elderly people that don't need unsanitary practices when handling their food. I think the health department needs to send in some secret shoppers.
Still the same issues. Same manager but bow they donut even wear gloves at all. And she is very rude but corporate don't care so don't forget calling. I just pass the word to everyone In...
Read moreI love Panda Express. I mean, who doesn’t want to indulge in the delicious trifecta of orange chicken, chow mein, and regret? But this location? Oh boy. It’s like the anti-Panda Express: no express, and barely any Panda.
Let me set the stage: I ordered online for a 7:30 p.m. pickup, dreaming of a steamy box of sweet and savory joy. I pulled up at 7:32 p.m., practically salivating, only to be told, “Oh, we’re gonna start working on it now.” START working on it?! I’m no chef, but I’m pretty sure the “express” in Panda Express doesn’t mean start cooking two minutes after the pickup time.
But wait, it gets better. Ten minutes later, they tell me they’re out of my entrée. OUT. And it’s gonna take some time to make more. Okay, fine, I can wait a little longer for my Panda dreams to come true. Except “a little longer” turned into another 10 minutes, which then turned into, “It’ll be about 15 more minutes.” That’s when I gave up.
I politely asked to cancel my order, thinking that would be the end of this nightmare. Oh, silly me! Turns out canceling was harder than assembling IKEA furniture blindfolded. They had to call the manager, who apparently has the magical cancellation powers—but she wasn’t even there! They assured me she’d handle it the next day. Cool, cool. So now my dinner has become an IOU.
If you’re looking for a Panda Express that makes you question your life choices and teaches you patience you never asked for, this is the one. Otherwise, maybe stick to making your own...
Read moreA quick service food place for Chinese food. Items are located on a steam table viewable from the glass fronted counter. You pick the meal you want and the servers place measured potions on your plate for you to take to the cash register. Portions are large. This is NOT an all-you-can-eat buffet. The food is made in small batches so there may be times when they may temorarily run out of an item. Go ahead and order it anyway and the chef, who you can see behind the steam tables, will stir-fry it right in your view. If it will take a few minutes to prepare the lovey servers will bring it to your table steaming hot. Most drinks are self-serve so free refills are availabke at the fountain drink machine and ice tea canisters. Popular entrees are orange chicken, chicken and veggies, beef and broccoli, shrimp with walnuts, mixed veggies, rice or noodles. Other items include, spring rolls, egg rolls, chicken strips, etc. Sorry, no desserts unless you count the Fortune Cookie. If you want chop sticks, just ask for them at the register. Napkins, plastic silverware, and straws are available next to the fountain drink machine. There is a drive-thru and also an outdoors (semi-covered) dining area if you prefer that. There are several handicap parking spaces close to the entrance. They are wheelchair accessible but their doors are quite heavy so someone will need to hold that door open. Main parking across from the main entrance and also extra on the drive-thru side of...
