
Super unhappy about the 50% payment required for an online appt. I have NEVER been a no show but I am being penalized and inconvenienced now. Sick of the owner's attitude overall! ( I actually had words with the owner by phone one time where she compared her establishment to a doctor's office and announced I'd have to pay a cancellation fee for not giving 48hrs notice on a reschedule.) You might want to be more customer focused and act less like you are doing a favor to your clients because they have a choice to go elsewhere. Other salons/businesses do a better job with text reminders by sending a text the day before and a few hours before appts. You send them two days before which does not help remind people adequately. Get a clue that there are other things you can do to be sure people show up other than charging up front fees and cancellation charges!    Read moreI hate my hair and I will be wearing a hat for the next couple days. Just want to say this was my first time and I don't want to come back. I could've done a better job buying my bleach and color, or should've gone to Great Clips. I paid $135 on a haircut (which is after the $20 discount: I.e a $155 cut if it wasn't my first appointment there) when I heard it was going to be around $70 at first. I absolutely love my stylist and had visited her before at different places; therefore I am already familiar with her work and do love it. When coloring my hair my stylist followed the advice of her manager as guidance, which is fine and all but again $135 is TOO MUCH FOR A HAIRCOLOR I AM GOING TO WEAR A HAT OVER. Still would visit my stylist but am not likely visiting this salon unless my stylist can follow her own feeling. I'm going to go buy my own bleach now. Pictures soon to follow to show when I fix...
   Read moreJordan, my stylist deserves five stars because she corrected highlighting mistakes that another stylist made (yes, at 95th St Salon). She is very knowledgeable, personable and professional.
The reason I gave four stars is because the previous stylist that jacked up my hair and one of the owners yelled at me when she found out I needed a âcorrection.â The owner told me that I must never be happy with my service. I literally never complained, in fact, when Jordan was fixing my color, the previous stylist came over to see her mistakes but she never apologized for it. I went out of my way to make her feel comfortable by telling her that I loved the color but the clumps of color needed to be blended. I was patient and kind but never got that in return from her.
I suggest that you see Jordan if you want up to date styles, professionalism and a warm, kind person. Hopefully you wonât get screamed at...
