I would love to give this location -5 stars if I could. I will never be back to this VS/Pink ever again and make sure everyone in Acadiana knows it.
I received a $10 birthday reward that I wanted to utilize on a purchase. I wasn't aware this couldn't be used on clearance items, but I decided to check with the cashier just in case.
When I went to check out and inquire about my purchase all of their main cash registers were shut down at the back of the store with a sign that read something to the effect of "find a sales associate on the sales floor to checkout". Red flag #1.
Red flag #2 - I go to checkout at the kiosk in Pink, waited in line about 15 minutes while the young cashier (Cashier 3767096) carefully wrapped each customers items as the line grew behind me. Once I get to the cashier - I let her know that I am inquiring about the price of my item, and she proceeds to go through the motions as if I am making the purchase. Asks for my phone number for my rewards account and then she lets me know the price. I let her know I have a birthday reward, we scan it, it doesn't apply to clearance. No problem. I tell her that I will go find something else. She proceeds to start checking out the people behind me. Red flag #3.
Red flag #4 - I find another item, a pair of underwear. I go back to the same young cashier in Pink, we go through the same song and dance and low and behold - my coupon states that it has been redeemed. She calls over her MOD Pam who proceeds to ask me if I had used this online to which I stated no multiple times, reads out the code to the cashier to type in and it still isn't working. So, I ask - do you think that my information was still logged in whenever you rang the next person? The young girl snaps and says no and proceeds to recall exactly what the customer who checked out after me purchased. Cool. I don't care. I care about using MY REWARDS on MY ACCOUNT. Pam then just tells me sorry. I leave fuming.
Red flag #5 - I received an email to my email address attached to my VS account and wouldn't you know - I was right. Young Cashier 3767096 did in fact keep my rewards account logged in and utilized that account to ring her next transaction without voiding therefore using MY REWARDS on another guest.
Red flag #6 - I call the store IMMEDIATELY - Pam answers. I explain to her who I am, and she is quick to dismiss me. I then let her know that I have proof that the statement I provided was in fact correct and that her cashier used my rewards account with another guest to which she interrupted and said, "we'll honor it". I quickly stated, "and what if I go to another VS?" Like I ever want to go to this location again and be treated the same. She just throws back at me "well Idk". I hung up on her while she was babbling nonsense.
Pam the MOD - I am calling for your job and your Cashier 3767096. You should not be a manager of a retail store location or in charge of leading others due to your poor style of handling a simple situation. So today I call and ask about it and im put on a 45 minute hold. Hung up and called back and then brittany i think was her name. said that the manager said that they don't have it.
