Charleys Cheesesteaks — Restaurant in Lafayette

So I have tried them 3 times now. The first time was when it first opened under the previous owner: bad service, nonexistent customer service, and food looked bad and was not good. Told myself never again. Then I heard they are now under new ownership, so decided to try them again. So happy I did! I have had them twice now (under new owner) and both times have been a wonderful experience: courteous and patient cashiers, felt welcomed from beginning to end. Food is made more meticulously and it shows when looking at your order and when tasting your order. I didn't give 5 stars because of the guy that took our order today..it's not midnight yet so it's still 2-26-2022..went around 5pm...I'm always super nice any where I go unless the other person gives off negative vibes then I give the same but this time I was having a really great day and still tried to get the cashier in a better mood but it didn't help..he was dry,looked annoyed,and I was so happy he was not cooking the food..the lady and the man cooking and serving the food/plates were very pleasant and helpful..if it weren't for them I would not...

I'd rate this place higher if what I got had meat on it. Instead, I got what amounts to toasted bread for their supposed "Philly cheese steak" sandwich. I paid ten dollars for what doesn't even amount to a sandwich! Supposedly this has "ham, turkey and pepperoni" but I found only minute traces of any of them.

Edit:. Sometimes the best customer service can change things. One lady saw that I was disappointed in the amount and made a new sandwich for me. Thank you so much for that, it really means a lot to have great employees. I'm revising my 1...
