Lago Vista Village — Local services in Lago Vista

First, I would like to say thank you to the Lowes grocery store. I really appreciate everything. Brookshire, when you walk in, you get the feeling you are at like and HEB. Lago needed I full size store. They have pretty much everything you need, plus some. The convenience of not having to drive to Cedar Park fight for parking and then fight way thru a crowded store. Most of them are kind of rude, and when you head to check out, you see someone racing you to get there before you. They got 2 baskets full stuff, and you might have 10 to 15 items they still race you. Brookshire gives you the feeling sometimes that the whole place is just for you. People in Lago are from my 40+ years, the nicest , coolest people you will meet. Great store, amazing customer service, everything you need at a convenient price. Hope the people of Lago Vista will support. Finally, it's good to see the center where Brookshire's is being occupied and starting to get other businesses. Was an eye sore for 20+ years vacant. Seen Lago go thru some changes, and I see Lago becoming a prettier and...

Don't get me started about the overall prices compared to HEB (not so far down the road). I feel looted every time I get shaken down in the name of convenience.

The store was clean. There were 3 other patrons meandering this large store on a Wednesday morning, which brings me to my issue on this occasion.

There so few patrons in the entire store and none were at checkout.

I went in to get a couple items on our trip to a theme park. There were some self-checkouts and an open (light on) checkout. That checkout was next to the items we picked up, so we went there. The sel-checks were at the opposite end of the front. Even though there was an associate in a closed window area looking up at us, just a few steps away from the checkout, it took over 5 minutes for that associate to come out. It wasn't until I gathered up the items on the belt and headed to the other side of the store, that she came out.

So much for overpriced...

I really enjoyed the wild navy boutique. It’s located in the Lago Vista village. Brookshire Brothers is also located there and that’s why I didn’t give it five stars. I do like Brookshire Brothers, although the parking lot is very hard to park if you have a larger vehicle or truck. The parking lot is a weird set up.
