La Rue Du Chocolat — Local services in Laguna Beach

We recommend La Rue Du Chocolate to everyone. This place is delicious from their chocolate covered pretzels to their salted Carmel morsels shaped like presents. This quant little chocolateer is so deferent than any other we have ever tried. Also I am allergic to peanuts (all nuts for that fact) and their treats did not bother my allergy at all. I can not thank the owner and employee enough for being so helpful and pleasant. My boyfriend and I will definitely be going back there for our chocolate fixes. A quaint and cozy chocolate and candy shop hiding in the tiny alley of Peppertree Lane (look for a two-story, dark green building from the California 1 highway). They have a great selection of chocolates, truffles, fudge, and dipped fruit. I myself had a chocolate covered strawberry, and it was incredibly fresh and didn't melt fast at all.

I also like the fact that they had a fun selection of stationary and small gifts, making this a great place for a quick gift for a loved one or family member. Parking on the street is quite crowded, so be sure to take the time just to find a parking lot nearby and enjoy the walk...

A nice little shop located in a fairytale like shopping alley right off the Main Street. There was a magical vibe to the place.

The chocolate displays are very tempting and unique. I wanted to buy up every piece but I settled for a few select choices from the window.

I think chocolate is a bit pricey but it is expected from good quality shops like this one. The mint chocolate frogs were delicious!
