I was recommended to David at Fredric H. Rubel Jewelers and it was by far the best recommendation for service I have had. I came to David for an engagement ring with a fairly tight timeframe to keep (4 weeks or so) in the fall of 2015. I am in Northern California, so we communicated by phone and email. David proved to be incredibly responsive and proactive throughout the process to ensure we met my deadline. David and I discussed the general design I wanted for the ring, the setting, and type of gold. I also got the sizing for him so my fiancé could immediately wear the ring. He emailed me several sample designs and included the pricing within the budget we determined. He gave advice throughout, including going with a higher setting for the diamond as I want to get a band similar to the ring, and have it fit under the diamond. David was able to complete my order and get me the ring ahead of schedule. This helped me pull off a beautiful surprise proposal at the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland. The ring is absolutely stunning, catching the light beautifully, and my fiancé loves it.

This is my first Rolex, a large investment that I felt I needed to do a little research on before making the purchase. I went to 2 other stores before deciding on Fredric H. Rubel.

The first store I went to I never even stepped foot inside, as the employee inside asked me through the glass if I had a “appointment,” I told her “no I just wanted to look”… she insisted I needed to come back with a “appointment,” mind you there was only 1 other customer in the store. I called the store while I was standing at the glass window, the employee told me the soonest they could take me would be the following day, just to look.

The second store I found, the entire time I felt as if I was at a car dealership, the employee was pushing, and insisting I made the purchase that day. Also that store had a rather large markup of what was listed online at the ROLEX website.

My final stop was at Fredric H. Rubel. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Claire, owner and Staff.. the process of finding the perfect watch for my wife’s gift was comfortable, easy, and the price was what was listed online.
