The T-shirt Company at Laguna Beach — Local services in Laguna Beach

I have to admit that it's been a year since I was there but posted a Thank You on their Facebook that I thought I would share.

(April 2017) I would just like to thank everyone at the T-shirt Company. I was visiting my family in California from Chicago and bought some gifts for my girl's and Granddaughter and got a few of the wrong sizes. Everyone was great to deal with and very friendly and very easy to deal with to exchange the wrong sizes. They were in constant contact with me and going out of their way as far as taking picture's of different t-shirts and jackets that they would put on for me to better imagine the sizes that they had to offer. Thank you T-shirt Company for a wonderful store, wonderful design clothing and a wonderful staff. Thanks Vanessa L. Davis for all your help, I only wish I knew the names of the other girl's that helped me when I was there. You can be guaranteed that I'll be purchasing other clothing online and when I go back to California for another visit, if only more businesses operated and had great friendly employees as great as The T-shirt Company.... Also I sent my daughter and her friend to visit my Uncle in California and I told them that to go to Laguna Beach to walk around and when you want to buy something to go to your store that they have a lot of nice things, priced right and they came back and thanked me for recommending your store. I do not know who it was that was working on the day I entered your shop but I was so shocked to find her rude and quite frankly miserable. Which is SO unusual to find anywhere in the USA to be honest let alone beautiful Laguna Beach where customer service is usually top tier. On entering there was no ‘Hi’ or ‘How are you’ nothing. On having a look around I picked up a vest top and couple keepsakes with Laguna Beach on them as this Beach is my all time favorite. I stood by till waiting to pay for several minutes and there was no one visible. So I walked to the back room door that was open and said ‘Hello…. Anyone there… I’d like to pay…’ nothing…. So I shouted a little louder ‘Hello??? Only then did a woman make herself visible from inside the shop saying ‘what???? ‘I’d like to pay please’ I said…. Without another word she walked to the cash register and took my things straight faced and rather angry looking like it was inconveniencing her to serve me. I really wanted to walk out but also really wanted my purchases as was last days vacay visiting from the UK. I paid and walked out. No thank you, have a nice day no smile nothing. This assistant will lose you money. As I will not purchase here on future trips if she’s serving again. She was petit with shortish dark hair. Oh the other receipt says a...

For many years this shop has been one of my favorites. I don't live In SoCal anymore but when I visit once a year, I always come to shop here. Ive always had a good experience except a week ago. Theres a lady with short hair and tattoos that works here and has an ugly attitude. Not approachable at all, shes very short and very dismissive. My wife and I wanted to buy some shirts for gifts but were afraid to ask questions since she didn't seem to want us there, so we bought two mugs and decided to leave and not buy anything else. This is not typical from this shop or any shop in Laguna for that matter. Even At the art galleries, everyone is very pleasant, its not uncommon to have a conversation with any of the employees. I hope next time I shop here my experience is better, although im a bit hesitant to set a foot here again, but ill give it another change for the great experience I've had the previous hundred times...
