8/17: The reviews on this center are confusing... either seemingly commenting on a different location, or stars only, so not convincing. Hoping this helps. VONS, the former anchor tenant has left. ALDI Market is on it's way in soon and has spent quite some time, and obvious effort and money to redesign the space for the opening of this new location. There is a breakfast/lunch spot called Laguna Cafe that is a fun little place- the pair of women who newly own, run, and enliven the place are amusing and warmly welcoming. The bisquets and gravy are fabulous! The decor is admittedly quirky but in the best way possible! They aim to please, and do. There is an UPS Store in the center in new/improved hands, and though I've only been in twice, they took care of me courteously and got me on my way quickly. There is a hearing aid center, and a few other shops and I apologize to them that I don't have info or experience with them. Of note, a lovely new Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf with a drive through window recently opened too the south end of the center. I love their coffee: more flavorful than Starbucks, but not quite as powerful as PEET'S blends tend to be. Nice indoor spot for a caffine boost cold refresher on a hot day, and a hot brew on a colder one. A DollarTree has arrived, and an urgent care center replace the firmer CHASE bank branch. Additionally, the Laguna Woods City (not Village) Hall is there, and has nearly completed a new wing in front to house their expanded OC...
Read moreI went to both Aldi and the Dollar store both stores have one thing in common they both save money in their particular assortment of products. Aldi by far is cheaper on Eggs and Milk and their salmon is vacuumed sealed, so if I decide on eating it on three days it will taste good and not smell like the East River at low tide. Their chicken breasts are reasonably priced, if they have chicken wings they're not a second mortgage on your home and they are fresh and taste really good. They have a interesting choice of products that are priced really well and are proprietary to them
I buy a lot of cleaning supplies at the Dollar store and 6 packs of water and kitchen supplies and other miscellany items that are only a Dollar and...
Read moreWait for a stormy winter night And this is the place to propose to your partner. It's seriously like going to Europe. But the trip will only last 400'. It's a little alleyway from the coast highway in Laguna beach to the 1st adjacent service alley behind. This tiny alley contains a bar, a restaurant, a candy shop, clothing store and a gelato shop. There is a huge Willow tree that provided shade for this area. It's just straight Up romantic. If you think about it , within a 100 feet you can go to dinner, get a drink, get a box of chocolate and propose to your soon to be. ( If you're being creative you can pay the chocolate shop to put the ring in one...
