Very shady company. Advertises itself as no credit needed and $32 down but that’s not the case at all. I’ve been dealing with an employee texting me from this company about getting furniture, which I thought was very unprofessional. They assured me several times that applying for furniture with their company is NOT BASED OFF CREDIT. I asked if it’s not based off credit then why do I need to input my social security number, they told me it’s just to “verify my identity.” I applied for all of the companies they told me they work with but they ALL DENIED ME. I called these companies over the phone and they all confirmed that IT IS INDEED based off credit. So now my time has been wasted filling out these applications, inputting my private information to companies I’m not even familiar with, and now I’m going to have hard inquiries added to my credit report.
Diamond furniture told me I’d be approved as long as I have $1000 monthly income, a bank account and a $50 down payment. Which I have all yet was still denied. Also, their website advertises $32 down but the guy texting me told me $50. I asked twice, “I thought it was $32 down,” but he BLATANTLY IGNORED me asking him this BOTH times and changed the subject which I thought was so rude and sketchy because why are you ignoring THIS particular question? I had to ask him a THIRD time, “can you please answer my question about the down payment?” Then he says, “yes it’s $32.” So why did you tell me $50? Were you trying to pocket a little extra money??
After I was texting him back trying to get some understanding as to why I’d be denied if I have everything he said I needed to be approved, he just stopped responding to me, instead of replying and trying to help find a solution. I just texted and said, “I’ll just find a different furniture store in the area to get furniture from,” one that doesn’t use text for customer service I hope…… Terrible experience, I knew I should’ve trusted my gut and just stayed away from this company when the employee kept texting me even after I told him I will reach out to him when I AM READY because I was annoyed by the unauthorized multiple texts he kept sending me pressuring me about getting furniture with their company, I told him I’ll just reach out when I’m ready so he could take the hint and stop texting me but instead he replied, “when should I follow up with you?” 🙄
I applied to AFF, Snap, and Progressive. Thanks for wasting my time, and lying to potential customers about your application process not being based off credit really isn’t okay. False advertisement is one of my...
Read moreDiamond Modern Furniture graciously approved my application for a beautiful Ashley living room set. I had initially come across the same set at a discounted price, which included all the pieces and an area rug. When I contacted them to place the order, the sales representative informed me that the set/package I had originally desired was pre-owned and had already been sold. However, the representative managed to find the same set brand new and even included a rug for me. The delivery was made all the way from Dallas to Saginaw, and the delivery crew was both courteous and efficient. Every item was delivered in pristine condition. The furniture itself is of excellent quality. Overall, this was a fantastic purchase, and I will certainly recommend Diamond Modern Furniture to my family and friends. Once again, I express my gratitude to Diamond Modern Furniture for their outstanding service and...
Read moreI will update this review if things change however, as of now I order a bedroom set, dining table set and a tv stand on October 24. The only reason I have the bedroom set is because I reached out to the store to see what the status was, after a week of ordering it. I never received an email, phone call, text…nothing. As of today I still am without a dining set or a tv stand. I’ve reached out to the manager, Tony many times. Most times he doesn’t respond for 10+ hours, if at all! After the delivery men damaged my items he offered me a $200 credit to keep the damaged item. Unfortunately I accepted that offer and order a chair that would be delivered “this weekend” that was weeks ago.
I just want my furniture, that was fully paid for at the time of order. I’ve asked for Tony’s supervisors contact and completely ignored. I’m stressed out and hope I get my furniture sometime...
