Ulta Beauty — Local services in Lake Charles

Check your receipts! They will slip things into your purchase and if you aren’t careful you will pay dearly! I guess partly my fault for not checking my receipt until I got home. The cashier slipped a Clinique product into my purchase. I live an hour and 20 min away from this ulta and it is the closest one to me. I drove all the way down there and bought what I needed. Was using gift cards so I was fumbling with those because they are THE MOST DIFFICULT retailer to use gift card at and didn’t pay attention to my total. Like others have commented, the cashier told me I got a free gift and she looked in the cabinet and was like we are out! Of course you are!

So, I get home and empty my bag to find a Clinique face product in there I did not buy. I do not wear or buy Clinique anything. I call and speak to the store manager that told me I had to drive back to get a refund and that she couldn’t help me, I told her that wasn’t fair, I didn’t make this error and I was the one that had to pay..l to the tune of $46! Yes, I should have noticed that but I bought a lot of stuff and was messing around with my gift cards. She proceeded to ask me if I was human and if I make mistakes. Of course I do! But, I fix them and own up to them. She refused to fix this error. She even told me well, they keep those Clinique products at the registers. I have filed a complaint with the corporate office. The video cameras can be checked…. I did NOT put this product on the counter.

As I walked into the store I admired how nice and clean it was and I was happy that y’all had the make up i wanted to try I was greeted in and asked what make up I needed and she pointed me in the direction but every time I go to this place I can NEVER get anyone to help me find what I need. So as I’m looking trying to figure out wat kind of make up I need I see there is tape around it.It’s a tester but it don’t say do not open but I guess I should know not to open it cause it has tape on it but I don’t know my color so I opened the tape a girl by the name of BREE runs over and say mam you can’t open that in a rude attitude so i politely with a smile said I’m sorry.She never smiled once she mugged me and never tried to help me find what I need just walked off it was other girls helping other people so nice and polite but no one came help me I will Never visit this Store again and I love Make up Thank God I picked the right color of Foundation I needed I’ll just order it from...

Today must of not been my day for decent customer service.. second place I went to in the mall that I left disappointed. While inside shopping I could not get anyone to help me, when I tracked one employee down she acted like it was a bother to help, and still didn't really help me.. only one employee was working the check out while several ladies walked behind register but did not help when line was too long.. now that I'm home I checked my receipt and chic charged me 2x for something.. I live hour away and work during the week can't just pop up there and get my money back. So disappointed!!! I hope their management reads this reviews. I hardly ever post them or even complain!!! Management please get with your staff on customer service and do the job they are paid for...
