I normally don’t write reviews but I had too for American beauty medspa. As a male I was very hesitant to get anything done cosmetically, but as I age I’ve noticed some things I disliked that I wanted to correct before it’s too late. I was considering a few options including Botox on my forehead, nightlase as my bride to be stated my snoring is outta control and I was curious about the skinny injection vitamins they offer as I have my wedding coming up! First thing walking through the door I was greeted by a lovely receptionist Amanda whom helped me get all the paperwork I needed completed, as well as assisted me with any basic questions I had. I then consulted with Dr. Farokhian regarding all of my concerns. As this was my first time getting anything done I was worried about my face being frozen from Botox and was curious about the pain and side effects of all the treatments She addressed all my concerns and made me feel very comfortable. The procedures went smoothly. We started with the botox. She was very gentle and I barely felt a thing. I’m writing this review a few weeks after my appt, and I see a huge difference! The botox reduced a lot of my forehead lines, not completely as it was my first which they told me would be the case. They also advised it takes time for the Botox to settle. Like anything in life patience is key! Rome wasn’t built in a day right?! Anyways moving onto my nightlase which is a laser machine that blasts painless lasers towards the roof pallet of the mouth the strengthen it and reduce snoring. As the “snorreee” I can’t tell a difference at night because I’m unconscious but my bride to be sure notices a difference! Happy wife happy life!!! And finally the skinny shots…. I was a little hesitant on this cuz well I hate needles but Dr. Farokhian is a saint and I didn’t feel a thing. These shots assist the metabolism and gives u that extra boost in weight loss. Now disclaimer for you all, this isn’t a magic pill! You must combine it with a healthy diet and exercise to maximize results. I’ve already started to notice it on the scale and the waist. I’ve been to a few med spas and have many services. Botox, fillers, lasers, facials, micro needling. All which I felt served the purpose at the time. However, after a bad experience with under eye filler that I should have never been told would work for me, left me with bags and looking haggard, I sought the help of Nina and Sheena. These ladies are amazing. They are so knowledgeable and give you an honest opinion on what they feel will work for you. Nina recommended I dissolve my under eye filler and even suggested I go back to the place that did it because they would do it for free and she didn’t want me to pay for it. After her lengthy education, I only felt comfortable with having her do it and was more than happy to pay for it. I’ve heard dissolving filler is painful. I didn’t feel a thing. There was little to no bruising and downtime. There was a small touch up needed after it settled which she touched up for at no charge. I could not be happier with the results. After months of not getting Botox, I was over due. I went back and again Nina educated me on what she felt I needed. I’ve been getting Botox for 12 years. Every time I would go, I felt the units increased. I think I was up to about 60 units. Well, after Nina’s assessment she came up with 34 units! And this is after not having any treatment for 9 months. She told me to evaluate my results after 2 weeks and if anything didn’t look or feel right to come back for touch ups. Two weeks later, absolute perfection. This is the first med spa where I felt I wasn’t being “sold” and more so I was being educated and being given honest advice. These ladies are so kind and fun. I visited American Beauty Medi Spa on June 29th for Botox and PDO thread, Megan was my Nurse and she did an amazing job with my face, I had Botox around my eyes, and my forehead and PDO threads for my chicks mostly to cure my laugh line's, for the first week my face looked pretty puffy mostly from PDO, and I was little scared what is going to look like, but as I was told to be patient and wait for 2weeks, I did not panic and trusted the process, so I was not quick to judge.

Today July 13 my face looks amazing, my laugh lines are not as deep anymore; I still can feel the threads in my face when I'm touching my chicks, but as I did a little research before I went to American beauty Medi Spa to make sure what I was told it is what is going to happen, I learned that PDO threads take about 4 months to cure your laugh lines and stays for 2 years. I went back for my 2 weeks follow-up on July 10 which was free of charge, and Megan checked my Face and made sure everything is in a good shape and there is no need for a touch-up, so everything was great. Meanwhile, when I was there I got IV therapy since I felt a little not at my best, 10 minutes past my IV I felt so much better, it took about an hour for my IV therapy to be over, and today I feel so much better, and look better I woke up at 5:30 am and going for a hike, and feel pretty energetic. But I wanted to give feedback about my experience before I go for my hike.
