Been a while since I've been to an islands but the family had a craving so we went. 2 adults 1 teen and 1 toddler. Ordered a couple of burgers, soup, and grilled cheese for the little one, nothing difficult. Food came out in a timely fashion considering the Friday night dinner rush. However, all food came out except the grilled cheese. Waitress said it's on its way out and dropped off some more fries for the wait. 15 minutes later, still no grilled cheese. Took another 5 minutes to flag the waitress down to ask her about it. She said she would check on it. After 25 minutes of waiting and the rest of the family almost done with their burgers, we flagged the waitress down again and asked that it just be put in a to go box and it would be great if it could be removed from the bill. She agreed and after another couple of minutes brought the bill and finally the grilled cheese. If this story wasn't sad enough, I decided to give the little one a bite of his grilled cheese while it was still warm before we left and saw the cheese was not melted at all. Two pieces of toasted bread with two slices of cheese slightly warmed by the bread. Needless to say I probably wont be back again for a while. Order ID 13752154882031616 order placed 3:46pm. I ordered online while parked in the front of the restaurant. Website says it'll be done at 4 04pm. I immediately called the restaurant to let them know I'm out front and sitting in spot #2. As it was not busy there. Tables pretty full but no line waiting for a table. I called to check on order twice between 4pm and 4:20pm. Both times told still waiting on food. So I walked in to speak with the host, she said not ready. Walked in 15 mins later and spoke with a European accented manager, I presume due to his age. He went to look for the food said not ready yet and he'll bring it out to me. At 4:37 he walked outside and gave me the food, as I waited in my vehicle.
I get home less than a mile away, and everything is literally cold. Cold cold. No salad dressing to use. And by the way, this happened last week when I ordered a salad. They forgot the dressing then. And they forgot the fudge for my 2 lava cakes this time.

Read moreHate to blame the entire place because everyone seemed to be working in the front but the order took almost an hour. Multiple other customers also upset for waiting but there is really no excuse. If something causes these hold ups, the management needs to take responsibility but one of the customers complained to the manager and the manager just brushed him off. I've never eaten at this location before but I'm pretty sure I won't go again.
Well, the regional manager responded to my review and asked me to contact her (Amy Alvarado) but didn't leave anyway for me to contact her. Kind of like how the manager just brushed all 5 of us upset customers off.
Unless she is asking me to leave my phone number on the review?? I would think a manager would know better than to ask such a ridiculous question. I would never put my personal info, like a phone number, anywhere in public. And, I'm pretty sure my closest 1000 friends in the food and beverage industry would agree.
