I bought an iPhone yesterday, there were two men working when I came in. One of them helped me transfer my data from my Android. (Never saw the other guy again.) I emphasized that all I cared about were my photos at least three. I was told there are problems with Android to iPhone transfers. I was told that he was going to back up my photos to Google and then move them to the iPhone. I was told transferring would take a couple of hours and asked to return then. He also started to help another customer that came in. I came back, as requested, after 2 hours and was told transfer was completed. I asked a few basic questions about how to use my new phone because I am not techy at all. I was giving my Android to my son so he then moved his data to the Android. Another customer was also in the store at the time and he went back and forth between us. After my sons transfer was done he placed our phones on the table and walked away. No “thank you”, no “anything else?” Looking through my photos now ALL recent photos from May 2021 are GONE. Not in the Cloud, not in Google photos, not in my phone. I went in to the Verizon store when it opened and the man there confirmed they were gone. “Did you post them on Facebook?” he said. F#
Read moreI've been a Verizon customer for over 20 years and can honestly say that this experience has prompted me to consider changing. I don't know if it is the store or Verizon.. I came in to purchase 2 replacement phones. I was told that one would be available in a few days but I would have to wait a month for the other. I was ok with that because I needed the one that was supposed to come in a few days and could wait for the other. After a week, I called and enquired about the first phone and was told that it was placed on the same order with the other phone and it would not ship until ALL phones on the order were available to ship. A month later I received a call to come pick up the first phone. I drove 30 minutes to the store, only to have them tell me that the second phone was not in so they couldn't give me the 1st phone until they had all phones that were ordered, in the store. 2 days later I received a call saying that the second phone was in and we informed the manager that we would be in on the weekend to pick them up. That night I received an email stating that since I had not picked up the phone, my order could be cancelled and I would have to reorder the phones. I don't ever want to go...
Read moreMy wife returned a phone she had purchased from this store back in June and yet Verizon Wireless states that they NEVER received the phone. We have the receipt from the store showing that we returned the phone, so we figured this would be resolved quickly, WRONG. Despite having the receipt and my wife spending numerous hours on the phone with Verizon and this Go wireless store, the issue has not been resolved and Verizon has stated that there is nothing more they can do for us and we owe them 647 dollars. They have even sent the bill to collections. My wife had been working with BRIAN at the store who initially promised her this issue would be resolved quickly. All he has being doing is giving her empty promises and even suggesting that she is the one who has to resolve this issue, despite his name being on the return receipt for the transaction. We are at our wits end with this issue and its now threatening to ruin my wife's credit. I am appealing to the store owners to resolve this issue for us.
