Wild Pansy — Local services in Lake View Township

Not accommodating. I’m an autistic person who already has trouble going in public as it is. It was quite busy when I went and had a cart. While there are no signs anywhere where carts are and aren’t allowed I was spoken too quite harshly that they aren’t allowed when I paused to assess how to get out of the area the woman who was talking to me yanked the other end of the cart out of my hands and started backing out of the area with out saying anything. I was very caught off guard and she then abandoned my cart and walked off as I was walking around this area with my cart I was again approached and told I could not have my cart in this area again confused as there is no signage I was caught off guard and followed out of the area as if I had stolen something. After trying to calm down from those exchanges I was then informed that I had a piece of merchandise that I was supposed to purchase before leaving the area that I was walked out of with no one stopping me and acted as if I had tried to steal and said either leave your cart full of other merchandise and go back to buy them or let them take the merchandise back that I hadp me the full intention of purchasing. Caught off guard yet again and white upset at this point I let them take what they had already grabbed out of my cart. As I was standing there I simply broke down and started to cry. As am autistic person I am very prone to meltdown when I am overstimulated and caught off guard. After crying for a few minutes crying and trying to calm myself down enough I was approached and told I was disturbing customers and was similarly asked to leave. I was very embarrassed and upset at this and asked for a minute and called my mother to help me calm down they stood with their arms crossed staring at me waiting for me to leave. My mother just told me to leave and so I left my cart full of merchandise and as I left I was followed out by the employee. This is blatant discrimination against Autistic folks and disabled people in general. This was a very upsetting experience and unfortunately I will never go back because of...

I found my beautiful plant! I was searching an eternity and finally found my Peace Lily that was perfect for my space . I literally drove out from the burbs to this place . Only took me and hr but so worth the drive. I got stuck in some traffic and got there right at closing. But the two employees there open there arms and embraced me like a lost orphan. Lol They showed me exactly what I wanted and took care of me in les then 5 minutes. I was ecstatic! Thank you I will be back next...
