Chicago Filmmakers — Local services in Lake View Township

Chicago Filmmakers is a great resource for budding filmmakers and cinema enthusiasts. They have a great screening area that they are continuously upgrading. They just but up a platform that I assisted with. They have screenings at least once a week. They showcase all types of films, from indie, to silent, to those just starting. They also offer classes. It has a great community atmosphere and I do feel very welcomed here. I've only met one staff, Ana, but she is a wonderful lady. Signed up for cinematography and digital filmmaking classes. So far it has been GREAT! The instructors are full of knowledge, passionate about film, and always eager to help and share what they know.
