Take your money, business, family, and empty bellies ANYWHERE else but here. Save yourself the disappointment of giving your valuable business to an operation that is irresponsible, uneducated, unprofessional, and that doesn't give a sh** about you- the customer- who ultimately keeps the staff's/management's/owner's food on their tables and keeps bills paid.
I wish I could give 0 stars after my boyfriend's and my experience passing through Chasers tonight, but potential customers should know. know been to this location a handful of times before, all quiet nights with less than satisfactory service from a staff whose concern appears to be socializing with coworkers while neglecting a few customers around the rest of the bar with empty drinks. Their food, on a slightly more positive note, is mediocre- O.K. at best. But I come from the restaurant/bar industry and am not out to get anybody so I was never motivated to write a negative review, until tonight. Considering going in for a night cap at 1:50 A.M. this evening, my boyfriend and I drove thru their parking lot to find out that they in fact closed at 2 A.M. Since it was minutes before their closing, we just left. But while driving to the exit of active parking lot, we saw a man walking who had clearly just left the Chasers establishment. This man appeared SO intoxicated I can hardly even wrap my head around it- and I'm a bartender, for gods sake! Stumbling, falling, having no awareness of where he was going, unable to hold his own head up, zig zagging into the darkness of a neighborhood next door by himself... 😕 As we saw this, we felt disgusted knowing Chasers under trained staff over served him, made him leave, and let him do so without contacting any transportation or authorities to assist him home safely AFTER CLEARLY BEING RESPONSIBLE FOR TREMENDOUSLY OVER-SERVING HIM IN THE FIRST PLACE! This is illegal not to mention immoral. Bartenders and management/security staff are 110% responsible for cutting off customers at the appropriate time, which is when they show certain symptoms of having too much to drink that threatens to possibly result in them being a danger to themselves or others (especially in terms of drunk driving, etc). It's the law to cut off abcustomer, period: If staff fails to do so and something bad should happen on that customer's way home (i.e. drunk driving accident) this could result in BIG legal trouble for the company, the owners, and the staff too. Avoiding over serving somebody and knowing when to cut them off is something every one of those Chasers employees SHOULD be well acquainted with if they were properly/lawfully BASSET certified (clearly they likely aren't certified though, which is btw also illegal). Part of this comes down to simple courtesy as a worthy human being to at least attempt to assist this man home safely, whether it be having a taxi cab waiting for him outside or contacting authorities to properly handle more rambunctious situations.
The lack of professionalism practiced by Chasers in Lake Zurich is deeply disappointing, particularly in this situation. As a well acquainted and connected employee in the local service industry, if ever asked if I recommend Chasers, I will respond with the simple truth: Absolutely not. Why give your business to a company that doesn't give a sh** about those putting food on their tables and paying their bills? Go...

We have been here several times, and the most recent was on a Monday night with a decent sized group. They put us in their side room which had multiple TVs on every wall and a projection screen as well.
Our server was friendly, and funny, and even gave us each separate checks which they clearly didn't need to do.
Four of us ordered their 14" meat lovers pizza as an appetizer (Monday is half-priced pizza). The pizza was really good. We then each ordered separately, so I ordered their cream of chicken soup. They do have a daily soup (Monday is Navy bean and no one really likes it), but their cream of chicken is really effin' good.
Next up for me was the Chasers Burger and I made the fries loaded. Everything came out great and I was beyond stuffed. Good thing we sat there gestating as we watched Monday Night Football, or I would have keeled over from being as stuffed as one gets on Thanksgiving.
Everyone in our group had great food: soup, pizza, wings, burgers, and even salad. One of our group bought dessert for everyone which was awesome. They were beignets without powered sugar and just had a sugar dusting and chocolate and strawberry dipping sauces,. They were fantastic! The strawberry was a better dip, but they were both good.
We did have a "Debbie Downer" in our group whose pizza order was forgotten. He just sat there without saying anything hoping to get a free meal (the small pizza he ordered was going to be just $8 and he was being an asshat about it),. Anyway, when we were served our pizza appetizer, he complained about the whereabouts of his pizza. They told him it would come out with the main meals. Then the meals came, but his pizza did not. He just sat there muttering that he better get a free pizza. Finally he spoke up and was super rude to our server about his forgotten pizza.
They finally brought it out and told us they were busier than they thought they'd be and their pizza over had broken and was finally repaired a couple hours before opening that evening. They were accommodating except not enough according to him. And despite his constant overly audacious complaints (which embarrassed the rest of us), they were calm, collected, and comped his meal for him. So while he didn't even bother leaving a tip, the rest of us tipped more as the service was still fantastic (despite him being a jerk), the food was great, and we'll definitely be back (without him).
Outside of this tale, the place has a zillion TVs and a great atmosphere to cheer on local sports with other like-minded individuals from the area.
Monday is half-price pizza and Thursday is half-priced burgers. And the cream of chicken soup is wonderful (comes with most entrees - not...
Read moreI had my computer to do work while I while I watched the first half of a football game. When I sat down and I paid my server $15 tip in cash because I was taking up a four top against the wall outlet and I thought it would not be very fair taking up a four top if it was only me and my computer working.
I was a bit annoyed that fries were five extra dollars but I did get some very delicious soup to accompany my Philly cheesesteak which was also tasty. No daily specials is disappointing. Rookies has $1 wings and Sunday specials are important IMO. The Hungry Mule has 1lb. Free wings with $30 purchase on Sundays.
My total bill came to $17.81. Despite the fact that I had given her an 84% tip. She brought back two singles with no change and asked me if I wanted to keep the change.
So, the 84% tip that I gave you wasn’t enough? And the change that I usually put in a 5 gallon water jug at my house obviously wasn’t returned to me either? I found this to be incredibly annoying and greedy. Rounding of the change at 1-2 cents, I get, but c’mon.
The atmosphere is good, the food seems to be pretty good, the extra charge for fries is annoying. This was the second and last time I’ll ever be here. Definitely won’t join any friends if they go here either. I hope others have better luck because I really wanted to...
