Indulge me as I embark upon a detailed odyssey through the myriad delights of the hotel room, a veritable microcosm of refined living nestled within the bosom of hospitality.
Upon crossing the threshold of this sanctum sanctorum, I found myself ensconced within a cocoon of opulence that transcended the mere boundaries of accommodation. The room, a symphony of tasteful design and exquisite craftsmanship, unfolded before me like a treasure trove of sensory delights, each facet begging to be explored with the utmost reverence.
Let us first pay homage to the architectural marvels that graced the walls, each adorned with a masterpiece of artistic expression that spoke volumes of the hotel's commitment to aesthetic excellence. From bold strokes of contemporary brilliance to the timeless elegance of classical motifs, every piece of artwork whispered tales of distant lands and bygone eras, inviting me to partake in their rich tapestry of history.
Turning my gaze to the furnishings that adorned the room, I found myself enraptured by their sheer elegance and sophistication. The bed, a veritable throne of comfort, beckoned me to recline upon its plush mattress and surrender myself to the embrace of its sumptuous linens and plump pillows. The seating area, resplendent in its regal splendor, offered a sanctuary for moments of quiet contemplation or convivial gatherings with fellow travelers.
But it was not merely the physical comforts that captivated my senses; it was the attention to detail that permeated every aspect of the room's design. The soft glow of lamplight cast a warm, inviting ambiance, while the gentle hum of the air conditioning provided a soothing backdrop to my nocturnal reverie. The subtle fragrance of complimentary toiletries mingled with the scent of freshly laundered linens, enveloping me in a cocoon of olfactory delight.
No review would be complete without due consideration of the modern amenities that dotted the room like stars in the night sky. A state-of-the-art television, replete with an array of entertainment options, beckoned me to indulge in a leisurely evening of cinematic escapades. High-speed internet access ensured that I remained connected to the digital realm, while a well-stocked minibar stood ready to slake my thirst with an assortment of libations.
And let us not forget the crowning glory of this veritable palace of comfort: the bathroom, a sanctuary of rejuvenation and relaxation unmatched in its splendor. Its gleaming fixtures and marble countertops spoke of luxury unparalleled, while the rainfall showerhead promised a deluge of sensory pleasure. And then there was the pièce de résistance: the indulgent bathtub, where I whiled away the hours in a sea of fragrant bubbles, the cares of the world melting away with each passing moment.
In conclusion, the hotel room was more than a mere place to rest one's head; it was a symphony of comfort and luxury, a sanctuary for the weary traveler seeking solace in a world fraught with chaos. I departed reluctantly, but with the knowledge that I had experienced true hospitality in its purest form, leaving behind a piece of my heart amidst the grandeur of this...
Read moreI don't ask for much when it comes to a hotel. Friendly staff, Clean comfortable beds, clean bathroom. The hotel staff was kind and warm, and we were thankful that they had some sample sized items we'd forgotten. We ended up being put in a handicap room, though we didn't need it (no big deal). I actually thought it would be good for my friend to check out their handicap rooms, since she manages Special Needs Adults homes and often takes them on trips. We got to the hotel late because we had dropped our daughters off for an overnight college tour. We were dead tired. I only mention that because had I noticed the filth when we arrived, I would have asked for a new room, or left altogether! The room itself was a nice size and well laid out. I did my normal "clorox wipe" sweep of the toilet seat, sink, door knobs and light switches, then we both went to the restroom and fell into the bed. The next morning we started to get ready for showers when I realized how much hair was in the bathroom. It was all over the floor! Blond, Brunette, long strands, not just a few! I started trying to clean it up, so I could shower without being grossed out, and that's when I found out how dirty the bathroom floor was! So disgusting. Eventually, I realized there was no way to clean it all up, so I put a towel down in the bathroom shower to avoid standing on it, then another towel to get me from the shower to the sink. This of course made the water pool (since it's all one floor) and more hair comes up out of the drain. It was down right disturbing. My friend ended up showering with her crocks on, and when she went to pull down the shower seat to set her shampoo on it, it was dirty and full hair! Yuck! Yuck! Yuck! After that experience I don't think she'd ever bring her clients to a TPS! The irony is that I chose this place because it was a newer property, and I equated that with cleanliness. Boy was I mistaken! I'm a Marriott frequenter, and have never been in a Marriott property with a bathroom this dirty! Perhaps TownePlace suites does not do well with keeping handicap accessible bathrooms clean, so I will never accept one again, but that's unfair to those who have no choice. I hope TownePlace suites will put more effort into these rooms, especially for those that may not have the option of simply requesting a different room. If they get the cleaning issue together, it will be a great hotel, but for now I cannot recommend. Bottom line, newer does not = clean!...
Read moreI have stayed at this location over Thanksgiving weekend (with the exception of 2020) for several years since it first opened. We have always booked the king suite because of the separate sleeping area for my son, and most importantly the full size kitchen. We’ve also had others members of our family staying there over the years. We have always been able to prepare several dishes for our family’s Thanksgiving gathering thanks to the stove and oven. Last week when we checked in however, I was told due to availability we were being placed in a wheelchair accessible suite instead. I had checked in remotely (requesting extra pillows at that time) and called the hotel to inform them that rest of my party would be arriving first. When I asked what the difference was with the ADA room, I was told the only difference was that the bathroom was roll in. I arrived later that night. My family had begun to unpack. I immediately realized that our “full size kitchen” was comprised of a two burner cooktop and a microwave like the other smaller guestrooms. No oven! And there were only 4 pillows for 3 people. When I went to front desk for more pillows I was told there were none, but that she’d look in a vacant room for a couple more. When I explained the lack of oven, the solution offered was the use of an oven in another room between checkouts/check-ins. I appreciated the offer, but it was completely unfeasible to go back and forth with groceries, utensils, etc. The next day we finally received extra pillows. But also discovered that our refrigerator was completely freezing our groceries. Even at the lowest setting. We were alternating turning the setting on/off to regulate the temperature for the couple of dishes I was able to prepare without an oven. As much as we like the location of this property, I sincerely doubt we will be returning...
