The store is organized and items are clean and easy to find. Sizes of clothing aren't scattered or hardly ever misplaced. The biggest issue is always the amount of time it takes to check out. We spent 10 minutes shopping for a couple items and had to spend 25 minutes waiting in line. When we got in line we were only 3rd in line. We watched as two young associates try and rush through with checkout but then five other associates all older people walk around pretending to work. One of them literally came up to the registers to grab hangers to take them to another spot at the end of registers. Another older associate grabbed carts near the registers and took them 15 feet to the entrance back and forth. Other associates just hung around the counter pretending to move stuff and put items up. At a slow hour, me and my mother was done with shopping and as approaching to the check out section we heard the bell go off for register 2. When walking up to it, there was no one there and so we decided to wait. No one at all was trying to assist us or be concerned if we were already assisted. Finally with the person that was assigned to that post came to check us out but when doing so he decided to say “I didn’t click my button” with an irritated look but proceeding with checking us out. My mother and I didn’t think he said what he said but decided on ignoring him and unsatisfied when leaving the store after check out. Customer service in my definition is to make sure your customer is comfortable and isn’t dissatisfied with their visit. Read moreLots of variety and good prices in merchandise. However, WI-FI is almost non-existent which is VERY FRUSTRATING when trying to use store website to redeem rewards points. Cashier stated she couldn't cancel my purchase because the system doesn't allow it. So I had to pay cash instead of using my rewards points. Cashier even admitted that many customers have same issue with cellphone/WIFI service inside. I went outside, per her suggestion, while many customers were waiting in line, to see if WIFI was available. No luck. I don't have a computer or printer so I can't print out barcode/reward coupon.
I know it's not the store's fault, but rather Lakeland store location (in fact entire shopping center has horrible internet access). What good is having a rewards discount program if I can't access website with LOUSY OR NO WI-FI!!
