Update 11-8-24 I visited Twin Peaks Lakeland for the second time tonight and was quite disappointed. Nothing like our first visit. We experienced nearly an hour wait for our food, and the service left much to be desired. We arrived just before 5 PM during a shift change, so the main dining area wasn't open yet, and we were seated at a high-top table on the east side. Unfortunately, this side seems to receive less attention from the servers; most of them were focused on the main area. When we finally spoke to our server about the long wait, she mentioned it was busy, but it didn’t seem that way when we arrived. In fact, customers who were seated after us were already being served. After speaking up, our food came out shortly thereafter, but it was underwhelming. The mashed potatoes were lukewarm and dry on top, while my chicken-fried chicken was hot but obviously microwaved. The soup wasn't hot at all, and the chips were overly salty. Overall, it was a frustrating experience. Today, we dined at the new Twin Peaks in Lakeland, and I'm happy to report that we thoroughly enjoyed our experience, both with the food and our wonderful server, Annie! I kick-started my meal with a 22-ounce "Knotty Brunette," a brown ale that had a medium body and a delightful flavor. It was served ice-cold, perfect for the warm day, complete with some beer ice forming in the foam at an impressive 29 degrees. Next, we shared an appetizer of Chipotle Queso and Chips. The chips were delightfully thin and crispy, complemented by a generous serving of flavorful queso that we couldn't get enough of. I moved on to the house Caesar salad, which was perfectly tossed and packed with flavor. For my main course, I opted for the Texas-Style Cheesesteak, featuring thinly sliced sirloin, queso, peppers, jalapeños, pico de gallo, all nestled in a toasted hoagie roll. It was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of spice. My partner chose the Turkey Avocado Smash sandwich, composed of sliced turkey, Swiss cheese, house-made avocado smash, arugula, tomato, red onions, and mayo, all on potato bread with a side of sweet potato fries. She loved it and found it quite filling. Annie, our server, was simply fantastic! She greeted us with a warm smile and had a twinkle in her eye. She was knowledgeable about the menu, made excellent recommendations, and frequently checked in on us without being intrusive. Overall, Twin Peaks is a fantastic addition to Lakeland, offering scratch-made dishes in a lively environment. The prices are typical of a sports bar, making it an accessible choice for a good meal. A big thank you to Annie for making our dining experience so enjoyable!

Twin Peaks is a new restaurant (as of this date 10/4... They've been open for about two weeks). It is their 114th store. So busy, it's in the top 10% of the company! Twin Peaks is in Lakeland, located next door to Olive Garden (across from Lakeland Square Mall). As with any new location they are rocking with guests excited to be there. So patience needs to be given as they come into their own. Atmosphere. Country-ish with some animal trophies and cute sayings around. The Peaks has TWO enormous bars to sit around. Lots of TV's for sports. The women working are in outfits similar to Hooters. Form fitting plaid shirts, shirts and cute socks. Nothing especially showy. It's a mostly scratch kitchen which is excellent. The variety of food is wonderful. Wings, burgers sure... But they have flatbreads, delicious pot roast and Philly's too. Something for everyone. COLDEST beer/taps around. Super good! I've been a couple of times now and there's a reason I'm not scoring them a give in their food or service. Again- they are new. The servers/bartenders seem to congregate and converse rather than making their rounds and (especially at bar) fail to table touch with each guest. One visit i waited 25 minutes to order food... And i had a menu in front of me, while they went from corner to corner chatting - tried to flag them, oh! And the music is really Loud.. so they didn't hear me either. Kitchen struggles with timing- With the Philly. Sandwich hot, fries could and unpleasant. Timing issue.... Do NOT put fries on until sandwich is ready. A different visit, with separate foods in skillets, one was hot fresh and other luke warm. Still enjoyable but it would've been heaven if it was hot. Flatbread was a bit light on cheese.. but still yummy. Candied bacon is a must on every visit!! Cooking consistency of bacon difference day to day. Some days it's very lightly cooked... I prefer it a bit more so. Each time it's been hit or miss. Soooo ... Long and short of it? It is a strong recommend. Right now it's not a quick visit as they work out kitchen kinks and service standards... But i will keep patronizing Twin Peaks, the food alone is great enough to return for. Good food and good service. Come by and support this great edition to Lakeland food fare.

I've been to many TP around the country. If you are by yourself as a man, it is difficult to get service and be treated as if you are welcome. Kudos to Kera at Twin Peaks in Lakeland for her amazing service. I had finished my food and almost finished my drink, Kera did not treat me as if I was a burden and wanted me to leave. Instead, she made conversation and mentioned a contest for selling bourbon (of which, I am a huge fan) and asked if I would like to try some. Connecting with the customer is where these big businesses (like The Owl) have lost focus. Thank you to Kera and Twin Peaks In Lakeland for the amazing experience! (Sarasota take note) ***Return Visit*** I ran across an IG post with Gabby, Mel, and Beyoncé. I thought to myself, "Self, you sure could use a Burrrr (Ice Cold Beer). And here i sit....with my Naughty Brunette! Rainbow Trout with rice pilaf and steamed broccoli with a Jameson/Pickleback. OK Man, I feel like a groupie but that Rainbow Trout dish was outta sight. Very simple and flavorful. I'm one that believes that a dish smothered in seasoning is making up for a poor flavor. This was far from that. If you can believe it, this dish, IMO, rivals that of most seafood restaurants. All I ask is that you bring back the original queso (not this velvetta stuff) and pay attention to the salsa recipe because it was a bit different this last time. Not to be a snob.

This was the first time at Twin Peaks and I was extremely disappointed. Let me note that the restaurant was not busy. Under less than half capacity on a Sunday evening. We were a party of six and were sat as soon as we arrived. At this point the experience was going great. After 25 min our appointed server came to our table and asked for our drink order. My wife asked what was in a seasonal St Patrick drink and the servers reply was I don’t know. Taken slightly taken aback, my wife replied well that has to do with if I order it. She said I dont know and redirected my wife to another drink on the menu and said that one is green too. Another guest at our table asked if it was always that long before drink orders were taken to the reply if I was busy. Again the restaurant was not even to half capacity. More like quarter capacity. At this point the assigned server left the table and shortly another server returned. She stated that the other server was at the end of her shift. This was a beaten lie because we continued to watch the server taking new customers after this. She was present in the restaurant after we left. We placed our drink order and added two appetizers at the same time. One hour and ten minutes after arrival we received our drink orders and were told apps were on the way. Fifteen minutes later apps arrived. The cheese on the nachos were coagulated and the meat was cold. I have to be totally honest the meat was chicken on the nachos and looked grayish more like pork. However shredded pork was not an option for nachos so we had to assume it was chicken. The meat was smoked so not sure if it was in fact chicken. We proceeded to eat the nachos and sampler plate. The strips were also cold along with everything on the plate. The cheese bites did not even string. The only experience at this point in the meal that was good was the 29° beer. And I do mean the beer was awesome. Prob the best draft beer I’ve had at any establishment. After trying to eat the food served I went to the hostess and asked for the manager. The manager did arrive to our table quickly was very professional about her handling of this issue and apologetic without persuasion. She completely remade the orders and the new food arrived as to be expected time. The food was good and the beer was the best after this point. While the manager was present we asked for extra sour cream and salsa. The current server said coming right up. At the concluding of our meal the manager visited the table to see if the correction was satisfactory. At the same time the server approached with the bill. The guest with us that ordered the sour cream asked if she was going to receive the condiment and the servers reply in front of the manager was I added it to the bill but I forgot. We had to wake I front of the manager that the cost (minimal but for purpose) be deducted from the bill to which we received a response of I’ll be back with a huge 20 year old immature sigh. If we try Twin Peaks again, it will not be the Lakeland location. The manager and the beer were the only cogs in the machine that functioned as they should from a customer service stand point. For that we were totally satisfied. The wait staff left a lot to be learned by them. Everyone starts somewhere. Hopefully the two staff members we dealt with will improve as time goes on.

I must say before we arrived to try this establishment we had heard rumors that during the interview portion of hiring these staff members that they each had to go through a “photo shoot” in their uniform and then those photos were sent to corporate office to be “judged” by some person at a desk that made the decision of that server would be fired based solely on looks. This already had a bad taste in our system but our visiting Canadian friends insisted we give the establishment a try. We were all for it and open to try the food and atmosphere out. We were all in a good mood and had spent the day at the our pool so we’re hungry and happy when we arrived. This is only a factual review of events as they...

If you want to go look at a variety of pretty young women dressed in a somewhat revealing fashion ( very short shorts and cropped revealing tops) ok. If you want to go somewhere for good food and service, this is not the place. We went mid-week, about 5 pm, and there were customers there, but wasnt overly busy. After being seated, it was easily 10 min or more before a waitress came to our table. We oordered drinks and the waitress (Bri) asked if we wanted to order an appetizer, because "that way you'll have something to eat while you wait for food" hmmmm - not the best way to encourage a new customer! After 10 min we still had no drinks.... in fact one of the hostesses actually got us our drinks, and was overall more attentive than our waitress (hostess even stopped by several times to see if we needed anything)! Got mini tacos appetizer. While small, they did have good flavor. We asked our waitress for more tea - another delay before we got it- again from the hostess.... she was fantastic, and clearly cared about customers. We saw a lot of plates just sitting outside the kitchen window and waiting to be delivered so i cant say i was surprised our food arrived on the colder side. I ordered a burger and sweet potato fries (ordered because the waitress assured me that they were hand-made, not pre-made/frozen; sadly that wasnt the case) - my burger was still somewhat warm, but the fries were cold. My husband had the pot roast - while his wasnt cold, probably due to the gravy, it wasnt what one would expect temperature-wise. When our waitress made one of her rare appearances, I told her that my fries were cold, and asked if i could get some that were hot. About 8 min later she came back to say she checked with the manager and they would make a new order. I also mentioned that the bacon that i had ordered to be on my burger was not on it, so asked that it be removed from my bill. I had finished my burger, my husband had finished his dinner, and we had been sitting waiting for a while more than 15 min, before the replacement fries arrived. She also advised that the manager had removed the additional charge for the missing bacon. She said the manager might stop by to check in, but that didnt happen...Yes, these fries were hot, but they were significantly overdone(visibly very dark in color, fairly hard, and the one that i tried just tasted very burnt). Nor sure if they were just overcooked, or if it was a case of them sitting too long and then being re-cooked to heat up (which clearly didnt work). Either way they were not good. Sat there for at least another 10 min (maybe more) before the waitress appeared again - seemed surprised and actually irritated that the 2nd batch of fries was clearly untouched. She asked what the problem was and i told her they were very overcooked and asked if we could speak with the manager. She seemed bothered by the request, but said she'd get one... Waited at least another 10 min before a manager stopped by, and she also seemed bothered that we requested to speak with her. Explained the several issues with the food/fries, as well as service, and that we got more attention/service from the hostess, and while she listened, she didnt seem to have much interest in addressing our concerns. In fact, when my husband asked if she would eat fries that came out clearly overdone like that, her response was that she doesnt eat sweet potato fries, so she wouldnt. Again, got a clear feeling from both of them that we were bothering them. After the manager left our table (interestingly enough she was called to the table behind us, who had the same waitress, a few min later for issues with their experience), the waitress dropped off our bill, speaking as little as possible to us before we left. No addressing our concerns or anything. Yes, things can happen, but there was no appropriate addressing of the issues either by the waitress or the manager. This speaks louder than anything to me. We will not be returning.

Just visited the newly opened Twin Peaks in Lakeland. I was greeted with warmth by a great hostess staff taken to my table. Greeted by an very friendly young lady named Cloe. She was polite, bubbly, and very professional. There was definitely no lack of attentionBurger checked on me quite frequently. Food was amazing. I Highly recommend. Will be back Captain America

2nd visit 28 Sept.2024 I was greeted by the warm and friendly hostess staff once again and taken to my table where I was greeted by my server Tasia she was funny, energetic, but most importantly professional. No long delays on any of my food. Checked up on me more than is required always coming back with a great smile and humor. She even dubbed us as buffalo besties. She earned her tip . Popeye

3rd visit 5 October 2024 Was greeted by same friendly staff at the hostess station . Today my server was Alahna( hope I spelled that right) very friendly. I had the crispy beef tacos as an appetizer and the chipotle chicken with garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli both were very tasty The Crow

4th visit 19 Oct. '24 Well todays visit started off with a different look to some of the servers. While some wore the traditional , plaid button up shirts and denim shorts, others wore a crop top plaid jersey and black shorts. Service and food were great again , I was taken care of by a young lady named Keezy, she was polite, and very professional. I had the SpicyThai ribs as an appetizer and the spicy meatball sandwich Casper the Ghost

5th visit 26 October 2024 Greeted by the warm and friendly hostess staff as always I was led to my table and awaited my TPG(TwinPeaksGirl) who turned out to be a young lady named Angel, she took my order which happened to be the pinapple habenero wings which were good but didn't actually live up to the 4 flame rating on the menu but still tasty. My entrée was the jalapeno popper flat bread which was very good and actually hotter than the wings. Food and service was on point again. The Savage Bear

6th visit 9 November 2024 On this visit to the most scenic restaurant in town I was greeted by the hostess staff and was told there was a 30 minute wait for a table (actually only had to wait 20 minutes) was texted by hostess and led to my table then greeted by my TPG Paige. She was friendly and had a great smile . Today I ordered the Spicy Thai ribs again and the Billionaire Bacon Burger. Some how the burger arrived before my ribs , but the mistake was noticed right away and corrected BBB y management with a card for free appetizer om my next visit. This place continues to exceed in all areas. Have not had a bad visit yet The Fallen Angel 30 Nov. 2024 7th visit to the Peaks was as great as all the rest, greeted by smiling faces of the hostess staff and led to table where I was greeted by Sophia my TPG warm smile and cheerful attitude. Redeemed my free mozzarella bite coupon to start , these are much different than most ,instead of mozzarella stix these are panko breaded cubes deep fried to perfection. Served wirh marinara and ranch . Entree I went back to the Texas style cheesesteak. Yummy. Sweet tea to drink . Sophia was a great server as she checked back on me quite often .

Jareth the Goblin King
