So many bad things to say about my experience in this store not just by me but my boyfriend refuses to buy parts from there unless there is no choice for him. Me some of the guys know about cars/engines but a few need to learn the computer system, check the parts are correct in front of the customer, and ask another employee if what the screen says and customer says is correct. I needed an O2 sensor for my upstream and the parts on the screen had discription under them some had a break down others just said upstream and downstream under them. Well to me that shows not only is the part for my vehicle because we searched but it also said the part had more then one function (some do) but hey as an employee you can let the customer know you would like a second opinion so both of us can make sure. I get everyone has to learn and not every time does the screen tell us details on minimum wording. I welcome learning if I have to wait a few minutes because my vehicle means a lot to me. I should never have been talked to the way I did making me feel like I had no clue. Knowing full well the part would have worked. The Employees (all) need to do some training and also knowledge that WOMEN can work on engines. I will always be looked at and talked to as if I know nothing about engines. Sadly I may know more then most due to me having to prove myself to the people in my life. I should have never been told what I needed and knew would work for my vehicle wouldn't after pointing out what the part had said under it. Plus the kid had no idea I knew the part number. I ordered it online because I knew if I called or went back in that I would never be listened to or my mouth would have said some fowl things. Because I had just spent about $400 that day with one part costing $3.15 for my vehicle the rest from the shelves.
I ordered that same part online to be mailed to me cheaper then the store cost from another company it will be here June 9th in time to get everything for my daughter's Birthday Party on Friday. Or I hope it will be on time can't trust the mail being on time anymore due to covid-19 that is why I rather pay more in the store due to such great need for my vehicle right now. I will only buy shelf products never again will I buy parts...
Read moreI was leaving for work this morning, and my husband told me I had a headlight out on the car. Great! At least the sun would be up in 10 minutes. But I drive for a living. So, as soon as my morning run was complete, I called the boss & got the OK to buy a new headlamp for the car. (In fact, buy two, the other one will probably die in a week! he said.)
So I dropped in to O'Reilly's. When I told the cashier I wasn't sure what year it was (2016? 17?),he said "Let's go check & match the bulb it has already." He pulled out the old ones from both sides, we matched the old ones, he offered me the pricier upgrade, and, after I paid, came out ,& installed the new ones! He even showed me how to do it. Then he showed me why my fender piece kept popping out, & told me how to fix it!
The staff at O'Reilly's has always been quick, accurate, and friendly. If they have or can get the part, my husband (a mechanic for all our friends and family) and I always go to the local O'Reilly's. Why mess with what works?
Thanks, O'Reilly's, for saving...
Read moreO'Reilly's is everywhere, and their parts stock is more or less ok. But they insist on hiring the least experienced people to do the job, especially in this location. They seldom know what I am talking about - nobody in there knows the difference between cutting fluid and WD-40 for example, then they act like they do and lead you to the wrong stuff. You will be much happier at Napa. Prices on unstocked parts are exorbitant, with buyers expected to pay for shipping, so if they don't have stock, you should always order parts online instead. (And from...
