The Hat Box — Local services in Lakewood Township

Not being the type of guy who likes to wear a suit I find looking for one part of the 7 levels of hell. Ok maybe not that bad but I’d rather walk on a bed of legos than look for a suit.

To start off with, walking into the store I didn’t feel overwhelmed or attacked by the sales guys. They fitted me for a suit and had it tailored and ready for me 2 days later. I mean who else gives that level of service. When I went back to try it on after the alterations were done, the length was a bit short and they told us we will have it fixed right now. Ten minutes later it was done.

In the time my wife and I were there she made friends with Bingo the parrot and I was playing with the Roomba. They have something for everyone. This suit should last me a long time but when I need another one, I’m only coming back here.

Last week, I visited The Hat Box. I explained to the salesman that I was a security guard for the Lakewood Cheder School and needed a hat for my Purim costume. He spoke to the manager/owner who dropped everything to take care of me. This fine young man returned with a hat for me. I want to thank The Hat Box for so graciously furnishing me with I late found out to be “the perfect hat.”

Two days before Purim, I wore my hat while at my school. To date, I've received hundreds of compliments on my costume, many specifically mentioned my hat and how I had picked the perfect hat. Many thanks again to The Hat Box!
