UPDATE:
NOTHING has improved over the last 4 months. I went on Monday, a National holiday, since my son was off from school and they only had 2 ticket windows and 3 concession registers open.... Really? On a holiday? Initially I told my son no popcorn because the lines were too long and the movie was starting soon. But he felt like he was being punished so I gave in.
20 minutes later we were finally 2nd in line and I noticed that the girl running our register kept going to a soda station two registers over for regular coke. Then she had to go to the back to get a bag of cheese sauce for the nachos. I'm sorry... With lines more than 20 minutes long the manager should step up and fix the soda syrup and nacho cheese station and keep the over priced concession stands moving along more efficiently.
Many of us in line missed the first few minutes of our movie. And don't get me started on paying $5 for a bottle of apple juice!
PLEASE FIX YOUR OPERATIONS
Half price tickets during the summer are nice, but the lines at the concession stand is out of control. Tonight there were nine registers open with 7 or 8 customers in each lane. I myself waited in line for 20 minutes, and missed all the previews.
Behind the counter was spilled popcorn all over the floor, a popcorn maker was out of service, as was an icee machine. However, even with the high volume, all of the employees I interacted with were very pleasant.
My suggestion to management, either invest in a self service soda station, or open the concession stand in each wing to reduce the wait times and make the movie going experience more efficient...
Read moreI am speechless right now about the COMPLETE LACK of any kind of customer service by this company. I am simply trying to refund 2 out of 4 tickets that I purchase a little while ago. There is NO WAY to actually get ahold of anyone at the theater. The phone number online takes you to an automated system that supposedly will connect you to your local theater. The theater I actually need to get ahold of just rings and rings, then starts transferring you to the fax number over and over, then just starts hanging up on you. Ok, I'll try another theater and see if I can get ahold of someone that way. Nope...theater #2 is a DISCONNECTED NUMBER. Theater #3 "has a voicemail that has not been set up"... Theater #4 actually answered but it's just the automated system, no operator available....goodbye....hangs up on me. Finally got ahold of someone at the 5th theater I contacted that is NO WHERE NEAR Long Beach, but the employee at least answered the phone and was able to help me. The phone number listed on their actual website is still just the same number so you are right back on the merry-go-round. There is no Online Chat available. There is no way to get a different phone number anywhere....there is literally NO WAY to actually contact this theater chain. I can tell you that after this experience, I will actively AVOID this theater chain. I mean...
Read moreThis theater was only selling tickets at the concession stand on the busiest weekend of the year creating long, massive lines. Open the Box Office! Concessions are so slow I had to download and install the app while O waited to purchase tickets and they have the nerve to charge a huge âconvenienceâ fee for using that method. There is nothing convenient about a closed box office, a huge wait to buy tickets behind people getting soda and popcorn, and being forced to download and install the Regal app only to be charged a ridiculous fee on top of the already high prices. Then another line before entry to get the digital tickets scanned on a malfunctioning tablet. What happened to the simple ticket checker/ripper? Theyâre shooting themselves in the foot. Not only that, my movie didnât start until 25 minutes after the posted time due to the endless ads and previews (what happened to 10 minutes of previews?!). The theater experience has fallen so far from where it used to be itâs no wonder theyâre struggling to stay in business. The actual building was clean and the projection...
