After searching online for red fabric, which no one seems to have in store, I ran across Michael's. They had an assorted set of fabric pieces about 1/2 of yard of each for a pretty decent price. I only needed red, but I figured I could use the others at some point. So I pay online and wait for the text to come pick up in store. What seemed like all day (about 5 hours later) I get the notification. It wasn't that far of a drive, 10 mi, but because a car over turned on the fwy (I pray everyone was ok) my trip took way longer than it should have. I get there about 30 to 40 min before they close, and since it's my first time at this store, I'm a little lost on where to go, but I find my way. After getting someone to assist me, she pulls out this very sad looking roll of sea foam green. But that was it! I thought I was going nuts. I checked my order and went back to their website to see if maybe I read the description wrong. Nope. The manager was called over and he apologized. I followed him over to where the fabrics were, just to be let down again. Barely anything was there. I do understand. But if that was the case, why not just tell me that the item the wasn't in stock. Instead of having me waste my time and gas to pick up an order that wasn't even there. At least I got my money refunded. On a brighter note, their store was clean and organized and they did have on masks and followed the social...
Read moreI recently visited Michaels and was absolutely blown away by the variety and quality of supplies they offer. Whether you’re into painting, knitting, scrapbooking, or any other craft, this store has it all! The aisles are well-organized, making it easy to find everything you need. I especially loved their extensive collection of high-quality paints and brushes – perfect for both beginners and professionals.
What really stood out to me, though, was the staff. They were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, always ready to help with advice or suggestions. One of the team members went out of her way to recommend the perfect type of yarn for my project, and her passion for crafting was so inspiring.
The store also has a cozy, creative atmosphere. They offer workshops regularly, which is a great way to learn new techniques and meet fellow crafters. I joined a watercolor class, and it was both educational and fun.
Overall, Michaels is a gem for anyone who loves arts and crafts. It’s more than just a store – it’s a place that fosters creativity and community. Highly recommend checking it out, whether you’re picking up a new hobby or just looking for some...
Read moreThe store serves as an inspiring haven where I can translate my creative ideas into tangible artworks on canvas. I appreciate that they frequently offer substantial discounts, ensuring that I rarely have to pay the full price for my supplies. Plus, the rewards program is a fantastic perk that adds even more value to my purchases!
To make the most of their promotions, I highly recommend downloading their app. It not only keeps me updated on the latest coupons and deals available but also allows me to stay informed about special offers and limited-time sales, making my shopping experience even more enjoyable.
As for their inventory, I find a fantastic range of canvases and a variety of crafting materials, from colorful beads to kits for making custom t-shirts, wood art supplies, and an array of faux flowers. There’s always something new to discover that ignites my creativity. However, I do wish they would expand their selection of paintbrushes, as the current offerings tend to be quite limited and often running low. Overall, it remains a go-to destination for all my...
