This is a highly critical review of the things that actually matter from an Uber driver who does this often and tries to find and use the best washes. For a good automatic wash nearby, use Jimmy Suds, still looking for a good self service wash around here.
Bays were extremely dirty so to start I had to clean the bay floor a bit, then, after starting to wash in that bay I find out the soap brush is missing. I clean another bay and move to that one. The soap brush is frozen solid, understandable, so I clean the soap brush and turn it on... No soap.. a sad amount of clear watery stuff coughs out of the brush every 15 sec or so and despite attempting to thoroughly clean it, it still feels like I'm scrubbing my car with the equivalent of a large set of frozen keys dipped in spit. It is then when I see the stop button and most of the control panel is frozen solid and unusable. Come on! Really? We have electricity, resistance heating is very cheap and easy, no excuses for frozen controls equipment in this day and age. High pressure stuff works fine, literally the only good thing about this place along with taking credit cards, and that's basically a prerequisite for a functioning wash. I wanted to use mechanical scrubbing by hand with good quality soap. That's why I didn't just go to a touch less automatic. All I got to use was high pressure water to clean with.... See the issue, that completely defeats the purpose of going to a self wash. Anyway, to top it all off, there's no drying setting, or any towels provided, or anything to dry your car with. I would typically give 2 stars for at least having some decent things, but I spent a good 15 min checking the reviews for all the self service washes nearby after my go to car wash Jimmy Suds that I use every other day was closed due to maintenance or maybe cold temps. As an Uber driver this is an important service that I spend lots of money on, so I tried to find the best in hopes of using them regularly. Instead, I just found one I know not to return to and the search continues.
Tldr, if you want a self service wash with good pressure that takes cards, and are okay with some other stuff being missing, substandard, or broken, this place is for you.
If on the other hand, you want a high quality self service wash with all the equipment working and not frozen solid, a good quality soap and brush to scrub with, and a dryer setting or at least towels, in addition to good water pressure and accepting cards, look elsewhere, this place will likely disappoint.
Edit: so upon leaving after writing this review, my side mirrors have a frozen solid glaze of water and whatever substandard chemicals were in their spot free rinse, making my mirrors completely unusable. It's not even that cold outside......
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is a review of the touch-free automatic wash and covers two different cost options, the cheapest and the most expensive, used on two separate occasions, 3 weeks apart, using the left hand bay both times. As of this review, there is a note posted on the the payment terminal stating that the new dryers are not yet fully functioning and thus a $2 discount is currently applied. In my experience, only the top dryer is activeāneither of the side dryers seemed to have any effect.
TL;DR Top wash option does a decent, if incomplete, job but isn't a great value. Cheapest wash option is pointless. Facility is clean and convenient.
The cheapest option is largely a waste of money, at $7, and I would not recommend even bothering. Especially with the dryers only partially functional (in fact, I'm not sure they are actually included for this wash.) You're paying to have some water blasted at your vehicle, doing very little actual cleaning.
The most expensive option is currently $17 and I only hesitantly recommend it and, even then, not until the dryers are fully working. This wash did actually clean most of my vehicle pretty well, even the mag chloride (anti-icing road treatment) spray on the paint although it left some on the rear window of my 4Runner. And while this is not an uncommon problem for many touch-free washes, for the money you really expect a complete job. And with the dryers only partially working, it's a lot of money for a incomplete clean and a very wet vehicle.
There are several car washes in this area and this location is an okay, no-touch option as long as you understand the compromises versus a soft-touch (which can possibly result in a cleaner vehicle at the risk of inflicting minor scratches to your clear coat, especially when used...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe have been on their unlimited dog wash / car wash plan for a long time now and love it!
My boyfriend is happy because their touch less machines wash his car without scratching the paint and finds the cost affordable. Our dog is happy because the high quality and regularly cleaned dog washing station makes the bathing experience a lot less stressful for her. Because itās 24 hours, itās so convent. After going to dinner on a weekend night, we will go home to pick up the dog, come here to give her a bath, throw her in the car then wash the car, before heading home.
Issues weāve had: We did have issues with the dog wash machines not activating with our subscription because of a problem in the app. Good news is that after we contacted the owner, he had the app fixed and reimbursed us for the dog wash we had to pay for while it was being fixed. I will also note that the touchless machine sometimes doesnāt get the car fully clean when itās really dirty, so we do need to go consistently to...
