AP Hair Studio — Local services in Lancaster

I tried to post this review over 6 months ago but i beleive the owner may be deleting them..I really wanted to like this salon but I did not. I do not often give negative reviews but I fear for the integrity of other peoples hair. My hair has not been the same...The owner Anny is the owner and hair stylist of this salon.I have been to her 3 times. Giving chance and chance but unfortunately nothing changed. I went in for an balayage. After creating uneven color and bleach spots at my first appt I had to come back. And She arrived to our scheduled appointment 2 hours late without giving notice . . She was extremely aggressive with my hair while washing the bleach out and when turning on the water it was boiling hot and burned me she did not check the temp first. She is way to aggressive with the hair she yanks and tugs when brushing without any concern of the hairs integrity. Unfortunately I think all of these things happen because she does not hire any employees so she is not able to focus on each client. Which unfortunately costs the client their comfortability and hairs integrity. It would be very beneficial if she hired some help in the studio so she is able to provide more attention to the customer because this was unexpectable. If you care about the health of your hair...

Anny is great! Thoughtful and careful, she doesn’t whip through the haircut. Spends time with her clients and will make take time making adjustments. No rush, great style, trust her with your head she gave me the best balayage I have ever gotten! loved every bit of my experience with Anny. The service was great, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the ambience was very pretty and elegant. Very pleasant atmosphere, especially considering the difficult times we are all facing with the current pandemic. Extremely clean area! I met Anny when she worked at a salon and she was assigned as my hairdresser. She was super kind, friendly and very knowledgeable about what I wanted when I said I had wanted to go icy blonde. She did amazing and that was back in January. Fast forward to a few weeks ago, I received a text that she had started her own business! I was super excited to check out her salon and support her on her new journey! Anny was still the same sweet, kind, bubbly knowledgeable stylist who knows her stuff!
