Maejean Vintage — Local services in Lancaster

I have been following Maejean on social media for a while, and was so excited to visit to look for engagement rings for myself and my (now) fiancée. I appreciate the wide range of styles Maejean sources, but if you have any specifics of what you are looking for, the showcase they are able to provide is not large.

My fiancée and I drove in from DC specifically for this appointment. I was looking for a gold ring with either emerald, sapphire, or diamond, and my fiancée was looking for a gold band with a small diamond or green stone embedded in the band. Our total budget was ~$5k. Over half the rings in our showcase were silver and at least a quarter were well over our budget. I understand their stock is different at any given moment due to the nature of sourcing, but this left us with very few rings to look at.

Though the staff helping us, Jess and Skylar, were kind, it felt very awkward and they asked no questions about us. We also felt very rushed to make a decision, and just overall felt like a strange experience.

Though I ended up getting my engagement ring here and love it, the experience was not at all what I hoped for. Additionally, my ring had to be resized and when they shipped it, they did not include the velvet ring box that it says it comes with on each listing.

When I tell you that this was the most incredible experience shopping with MaeJean Vintage, it doesn’t even begin to explain how lovely this group of ladies are. I have been in search of a very special piece to represent earning my 8th degree on my soul dog’s 8th birthday and of course, had to reach out to see if MaeJean had any pieces! From the moment I contacted them, these ladies not only went above and beyond to show me pieces that matched what I was looking for, but went into their unlisted pieces to find my perfect ring. About a week after first speaking, I was contacted with photos of this piece that ended up being exactly what I was looking for, but also had an “E” engraved on the belt loop- my sweet soul pup’s name is Elton so of course, ALL THE CHILLS! The ladies then packaged my ring up and it was at my doorstep not even a week later!

I started following Maejean’s vintage a while back on social media, while I still hope to one day visit the store in person. I fell in absolute love with an Opal ring had to get it. So I purchased online. Because I was buying this ring online, I needed it resized. They answered all of my questions before actually purchasing the ring itself to make sure I could resize it to what I needed it to be. they definitely helped me make sure that I got the right size

I think what I love even more than the ring itself is hands-down the customer service. They have one of the most nicest and responsive customer service team I’ve ever dealt with, the staff is on point they know their Jewelry and they’re very communicative. I cannot wait until I can make it out to Lancaster for an actual showroom viewing of the jewelry and to meet the staff.
