Nice selection, and the owner is very friendly. Giving 3 stars because I purchased a pair of earrings that were labeled sterling silver but they are nickel. I am allergic to nickel jewelry and these turned my earlobes into cherry tomatoes. I’m very sad since I loved the earrings, but they are unwearable. I visited from out of town without an option to ask for my money back. If you have a nickel/metal allergy avoid the jewelry here. We were so looking forward to visiting Windy Mesa while we were in Lanesboro. However, the owners do not know how to respond to FB messages. Additionally, that voice mail box for the phone number given is full, and unable to receive any more messages. Apparently they haven't figured out how to manage that either. They were even on the store when we were there, but couldn't even open while they were there. They must have too much money. Skip this place and give your money to the stores...

Every year my husband and I enjoy heading toward Lanesboro, MN in the fall. It’s a beautiful area with lots of exciting things to do. Going to Windy Mesa (a store) has become part of the trip. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable about his wares. Various items of jewelry and things for your house that you can’t find elsewhere are on display. Try going there.
