Paddle On Coffee & Maker Emporium — Restaurant in Lanesboro

This coffee shop offers a great space with a wonderful atmosphere. There is ample comfortable seating that is well spaced and interspersed among art and items for sale. Clearly, a great deal of thought was given to creating a great vibe. The coffee was good with a choice of dark or medium roast and I enjoyed my latte. The food, however, was a complete waste of money. It was not freshly prepared but seemed to be revived from frozen. Bothe the muffin and croissant that we had were still cold in the middle and very dry. Additionally, we had to wait a good 10 to 15 minutes for them after receiving our drink order. Their notification system also did not work well as I had to keep going back to the order area to check on it. Sadly, the food and service did not live up to the expectations created by the venue. They may have been short onn staff. If that was the case, it would have been better to shut down the food menu rather than serve...

Stopped by after staying the night in Lanesboro! We had a coupon from our hotel so why not! The place was so so cute! I love a great coffee shop! The girls working were great! The coffee drink I had was good however I would have loved to be able to choose milk chocolate for the campfire drink ( thought smores=milk chocolate). The smoothie could have used a creamy blend not so as to be not so icy. The crescents were just okay, not warmed up like I imagine them to be. I am not taking a way a star for this as all was good… I am also not taking a star away for the serve of how things were put out… our food came 3 minutes before the coffee drink and 5 min before the smoothie. I think trying to put it all out at the same time would have made for a much better service! ( although I do love to take photos of all the items for reviews… so having to wait and wait might have been the issue...

We waited in line to place order and were given instructions to wait for a text message when ready. After 40 minutes we went back in from back porch area to check on food. The woman asked in an accusatory tone why we had not picked up our order, I showed her my cell to show we hadn’t received text. She said she would deliver to porch and then we waited another 10 minutes only to have the server drop it on floor. Came back immediately with a replacement and an apology (at this point a refund would have been appropriate) and then we ate very disappointing frittatas that for the small portion received were expensive, and tasted just okay but by that time a saltine would have been okay. We tipped in advance and then were treated like somehow this was our fault. It could have been an off day but they also could have made an effort to...
