After having Guardian Hawk in my home for over 12 years I'm finally facing some issues. For the past 12 years I haven't faced any issues but just recently, the past two times they have disappointed me. Here's the scenario, I have my alarm set on instant, meaning if a door opens it will immediately notify them, and they will contact you directly to confirm everything is okay and ask you for your password, to verify it's actually you. So I had forgotten that I turned the alarm on or someone else that was home turned it on without my knowledge and the alarm went off and so I put in my code to shut off the alarm in the house and waited for them to contact me via phone. The first time this happened it took 5 1/2 minutes for them to call and check in. This last time the other night it took them over 7 1/2 minutes to call! I had thought maybe I took too long and they sent the police out instead of calling but nope. They were just slacking. Very disappointed that this company is going bad after such a long time. I mean almost 8 minutes is absolutely ridiculous, a serious crime could be occurring and they seem like they have no urgency whatsoever so help you out. The woman who called from Guardian Hawk sounded very tired and frustrated, like I had woken her up. Understandably it was late at night both times this happened but if you're going to be in business for alarm systems/security you should take it very seriously. Next time this happens I will be sure to get the persons name so I can report them directly. And reading the reviews and responses some smart as s should be fired for speaking to customers that way. We get a phone call from Guardian Hawk every day to tell us the system is alarming. Our building is managed by a property service manager but rather than call the property manager, they call us. When we say we need the unit serviced, the call center asks for a code, which we do not have.
