Sound Connection — Local services in Laredo

I'm really sorry for having to post this because the young sales man ( Justin) offers outstanding customer service. The reason I am posting this today is because the person who lacks good customer service is the owner. I have been a customer for about two years now. I don't go in there buying the cheap audio equipment and I've recommended a few people do to Justin's customer service. Today I went in to purchase a radio installation kit which by the way it is sold separately from the manufacture and the owner also had it priced separately but he refused to sell it to me. I have worked in the audio sales business and I would have never done that to a repeat customer. I wouldn't want to loose a sale and a customer over a kit. He was still going to make a 700 dollar profit on the kit I was trying to buy. So, after going back and forth the only thing he offered was to match the price on the radio I had already purchased at a better price from another local store, a store credit on a Brand new item I was trying to exchange, or a 15% restock fee. Sound Connection did a complete sound system upgrade, new door speakers w/sound dampening, tweeters, 2 new amps and a JL Audio downfiring Stealthbox w/2-12in subs mounted under the back seat in my 2019 F150. They also did a BIG 3 electrical upgrade under the hood. I received outstanding customer service from all the staff especially Justin and Vijay. They took the time to answer my many questions as well as explain everything to me. Sound Connection provided a professional and clean installation by Luis. His overall detail was absolutely amazing especially in his wire management. Justin, Vijay and Luis far exceeded my expectations and I will be a returning customer...

Terrible service!!! The owner (vj) very rude and unprofessional, they blew my brand new amp and tried to say it came like that. I had to take my truck back 3 times and wait 2-5 hours each time. I even had to help the installer put my seat in my truck. Stay far far away from this establishment!!!! They are over priced for one. Quality of work is terrible. my amp is currently just dangling there because that’s how they left it. And they will tell you if you have problems they will help you and they do not.
