Whataburger — Restaurant in Laredo

They need to have people working here who can understand English. Stopped by for an early lunch here while traveling. Ordered meals for four kids and two adults. Over $70. Why? Because they charged us for two 4 piece chicken strip dinners instead of two kids chicken strip meals. I don’t even know what they charged us instead of kids burger meal but that wasn’t the kids meal. Even though it was a long wait for the food (11 am on a Saturday) the chicken strips weren’t very fresh and our kids each ate one of their four strips. The fries had no salt and weren’t fresh. The burgers were dry and hard to eat. If this is anyone’s first experience with Whataburger, I understand why they’d say it sucks. Good thing our local whataburger is much better this place. I’ve never been to a Whataburger and it took my truck breaking down and me being in a hotel nearby to try it. This was the nearest place and I was so happy to find that out. While the dining area is slightly outdated, it kind of feels like it’s supposed to be that way. Old time music, very friendly people. Security outside would normally make me worried but actually makes me feel safe. I was beyond amazed how quick the food came out and how good it was/is. They bring a tray of condiments which is soooo nice and convenient. I’m really really happy I got to try this place and location. If I ever find myself stuck in Laredo again I will be back.. or at least to a different Whataburger. Thank you for making my nightmare day turn into a great experience. I really...
