I just want to take a moment to express my deep gratitude for the amazing lady, Ms. Geri, who helped me at Amscot today. I came in hoping to take out a loan because I was short on rent, and as a single mom with no help, I was really stressed and overwhelmed. Even though I arrived right as the facility was closing, she welcomed me with so much kindness and patience. She never rushed me, never made me feel like a burden, and took the time to explain everything clearly while still making me feel human. Her understanding and compassion honestly made a world of difference to me today. I've never had to wait for more than five minutes for service, at least at this location. Yes, often times there's one employee but when there is, they know what they're doing and get through those in front of me FAST! TIPS: Know there are two types of loans: a. One Month b. Payments Have your bank account information with you. Ask for some of those Tootsie Rolls, they're good and they'll give you plenty as they have too many 😁

I will not go to this location again. Simon was rude. He couldnt hear me saying my phone number but gave me attitude when I spoke louder. First time using an additional service besides utility pay and Simon was rude and arrogant instead of kind and helpful. Slowest service yet. And when helping my minor child had disregard for me. Said he had been with amscot for more than a decade but if you arent going to treat the customers kindly the amount of tenure...
