I work for a local Largo company and often on Thursdays we will cater breakfast for the staff. We all love Einstein Bagels for breakfast. The location off of East Bay and 19 is especially fantastic.
I often call them at 6am and ask for 15-20 breakfast bagel sandwiches by 7:30am and they get it done for me. Early on the manager noticed that I would call in with this order and I think she made note to help me out. She knows me now and gets it done. I do this breakfast several times a month but its often last minute and they always make it happen for me. There was one employee that went the extra mile and set me up with a number I could txt the night before to help make sure that they got the order in and done for me. Don't think this is normal protocol but I really appreciated the help. Thanks Kelly!
My company is in the service industry as well and so I think its important to call out a branch or company that does go the extra mile to service their customers, regular customers or not. Einstein bagels are the same at any location you go to, but when one location services you better than the next you tend to go to that one to give them the business. This branch is not the closest to my home or work but they were the ones that could get the order done when I needed it and so they earned the large order I place every other weeks sometimes.
Thanks...
Read moreI eat here almost daily. Every single day, I have to beg the manager to make more French toast bagels. She agreed with the fact that as a restaurant if you have multiple customers requesting a product you carry, it only makes business sense to cater to your patrons and make more or product more of that product. It's simple supply and demand. Not only did the manager agree, but I was promised that they would put a bagel to the side for me since I am a regular customer. Well apparently, Einstein also routinely lies to their customers. Today when I called ahead to place my order, not only was no French toast bagels, but the promise that was made to me was a complete lie. I wish their was someone in a leadership position employed there that understands how to manage this type of establishment and would lie to their customers. At this point I am just going to take my business elsewhere. I could understand if I only ate there once or twice a week, but at this point I am sick and tired of begging for basic customer service. I do not recommend this place to anyone that cares about what they eat because if you expect to be able to order what you want it will...
Read moreI ordered a toasted bagel sandwich. It didn't come back toasted, I figure no big deal. I get the attention of the girl making the bagels and she replies, "It didn't say toasted.". "Ok, but that's what I asked for." She then rips the bag from my hand, throws it on the counter. She makes a new sandwich throws the bag on the counter on the opposite side of the store from where I'm standing. Once my drink was ready, I took it and walked over to get the bag, checked the sandwich and now there's no mustard. Take it back to the same girl who grabs the bag from my hand puts it on her bench, opens the sandwich then says "You what, we're out of mustard. There's packets over there." (Only yellow mustard mind you). Nevermind the fact that it's hard to believe a bagel deli runs out of mustard... (it's almost as ridiculous as running out of bagels), customer service was atrocious. The funny thing is, I haven't been here in almost two years beacause last time the help was questioning why I needed almond milk instead of dairy like she was trying to give me. I'm lactose intolerant. I used like this place... was a...
