We had to cajole them to open the gate so we could sit in the waiting area and use the restroom. Since they got rid of the 8:50 ferry there is a long wait between ferry departures. We got different reasons as to why the gate was closed for so long. Man on phone said “sit in your car.” We should be able to sit in the waiting room. Otherwise the ferry is a great...

Best views! You dont need an expensive cruise to see the city, take the larkspur ferry from san Fran. You'll see angel island, Alcatraz, bridges, and san Quinton. Do some shopping in larkspur before riding ferry back to the ferry terminal in san fran. Gets chilly outside on boat but...
