1 Star is not for the customer service. The one star is for the STORE OWNER Ms BOWENS! My wife and I came in and wanted a new sofa four our new apartment and the sales guy Anthony was extremely helpful and awesome. He answered all of our questions and concerns, After we found the one we wanted Weâre weâre approved for it with no issues and a âOKâ from the store owner that we were too buy the sectional without the middle pice of it. Went too pick it up the same day 2 hours later then the store owner said Anthony canât sell you the sofa without the middle pice because Iâll be stuck with it . She said too me either you can get youâre money back or cancel the order or we can order it and wait 3 weeks due too COVID . I was like NOO! the reason I wanted it itâs because of convince so I want it today. Went back inside the store and the owner preceded too scream at Anthony because she said it was his fault but however he had got the approval from her not but 2 hours earlier. So long story short we ended up getting the middle part of the sofa and delivery fee waived. If youâre ever going into this store DO NOT ASK FOR MS BOWENS she is extremely rude too her employees and her staff . She should not be running this store if she is going too be unprofessional towards her staff . Anthony thank you for everything you were able too help us out considering the hassle from youâre boss .    Read moreWe have purchased a couple of items from Ashley Furniture, a sofa with electronics and a Tempur-Pedic bed. We have had the sofa for a little over a year, and it seems to be doing fine. More recently we purchased the Tempur-Pedic bed. Reggie Blalock (the salesman) spent a sufficient amount of time with us explaining the beds, however he did not offer the display model which was lower in price than the newer models. We decided to think about the price before we jumped into a hefty payment, so we left. Originally we asked for Maureen Greene (saleslady), who is a friend of the family, but unfortunately she was not there, so we talked to Reggie. After a couple of days later, we decided to go back and talk to Maureen, she immediately took us over the the display model that was less in price than the new models, plus we'd get it quick. She made a deal, we asked for the extras as she added them into the package deal. We had the bed 4 days later, plus she threw in a mattress cover and a couple of pillows. Great customer service Maureen. Thank you! However, I must add that I'm not impressed with Wanda (store owner)! She did not give me the time of day after seeing us in her store two times, purchasing her items.    Read moreMauricio was outstanding and made the sale by recognizing that I had already done my research and knew what I was looking for. I didn't see the sectional I was after in the store and was headed out the door to see where online it could be found. He greeted me coming in but also, heading out. He said to at least let me look it up, and he was sure he would have something similar in that brand so I could at least check out the fabric and construction to see if it suited me. He looked up the sectional model I was after, and it turned out I had walked right by the unit I was looking for. Although the model on the floor was not the color we were after, we enjoyed how our future sectional was going to feel while he got the right one on order in under 5 minutes. We were glad to stop searching and we were also glad the final deal he made with us was $150. under our budget.
I am sure Mauricio felt the accomplishment of making the sale to potential customers on the way out the door.
Mauricio was on the spot with the info and gave us the option to let us check out the quality of the piece and color on something similar the brand offered. He was easy going, courteous, and a professional. I will go to Ashley and talk to Mauricio first about pieces we plan to buy in the near future before I look elsewhere.
