Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Las Cruces

So I haven't gotten pizza from papa John's in like a year. They used to be my absolute favorite pizza place but when we excited decided it was "pizza time" and waited almost an hour for it to be delivered, I can honestly say I ate 1 slice and wont be finishing it. It was so bland and depressing. The bread didn't even taste like bread, it tasted like the color white. The only thing with any flavor at all was the pepperoni but that's prepackaged anyways. We got the bread sticks to and they were even more sad and flavorless than the pizza! Even with desperately dipping the sticks in 2 tablespoons worth of marinara sauce (for several feet worth of bread sticks) I opted to not finish. I'm wondering if there was maybe seasoning they forgot to put on the pizza and the bread sticks? Did it need salt? Butter? Anything? I'm not sure but I know I'm not ordering for another year and I'll try my luck...

This is my favorite chain fast food / delivery pizza option in the area. The ingredients are fresher and better than the other two chains. I think they put too much sauce on by default, so I always order with light sauce. Also, if you like lots of toppings like me, order it well done and they cook it a little extra. Save some money by always checking out the coupons on their website. I usually order online, as well. I've lived in the area of this one for 12+ years and in that time I've had a problem with my order twice that I recall. Each time I called back and they made it right. You can get better pizza in town, but not delivered. I must say, Dominos has gotten better in last decade. They sous be my number 2 chain delivery choice. Ordered last night online. Waited a long time and never got the food. An email came in saying order was canceled due to no contact but no one called me. My dogs get wild if the front gate gets touched so I know no one came. I gave instructions on the instruction section. I called in and the guy said he was the manager and didn’t get my order. I told him the store number is #2660 and I have an emailed receipt. He said he couldn’t do anything because he doesn’t have an order but yet money was deducted from my bank account and my family didn’t eat. I asked him to take down my order and he hung up on me.
