Step through the Las Vegas Boulevard entrance of Resorts World and discover what shouldn't exist in Vegas: a cigar lounge where you can actually breathe.

Eight Cigar Lounge has cracked the code that has stumped the industry for decades—how to create a smoking establishment that doesn't assault non-smokers with eye-watering clouds. The secret lies in advanced ventilation that maintains optimal conditions, meaning clothes emerge miraculously unscathed and companions can linger without suffering.

The 7,000-square-foot space unfolds across eight distinct areas (the number carries weight in Chinese-heavy Vegas), from intimate leather nooks beneath dramatic cigar artwork to a sprawling 2,200-square-foot terrace overlooking the Strip. During my afternoon visit, I watched a stylishly dressed couple share cigars in desert sunshine, their table properly appointed with accessories—the kind of unhurried scene that feels increasingly rare.

The temperature-controlled walk-in humidor houses more than 150 brands, priced from $18 to $5,000, including some of the world's rarest smokes: Fuente OpusX Lost City, Arturo Fuente Don Carlos Eye of the Shark, and Gurkha's His Majesty's Reserve. Staff preparation borders on theater: cigars are cut and lit with sommelier precision while servers explain tobacco origins with genuine enthusiasm.

The cocktail program reveals similar sophistication. I ordered the Spicy Camino, a complex mezcal creation with enough backbone to complement a Padrón 1964 Anniversary Series. The bar stocks premium spirits including Michter's 10 Year Old Single Barrel Bourbon, Port Ellen 37 Year Old Single Malt, plus Hibiki and Hakushu Japanese whiskies.

The clientele provides Eight's particular alchemy. Demographics skew younger and more diverse than traditional cigar lounges—I spotted tech executives, celebrating couples, and what appeared to be a professional athlete. Two elegantly dressed women toasted with craft cocktails beneath the dramatic artwork, embodying the space's inclusive evolution beyond old-boy stereotypes.

Entertainment elevates the experience further. When a vocalist in a striking red dress took the intimate stage around 9 p.m., her genuine talent added sophistication without overwhelming conversation. The acoustics are calibrated perfectly—music enhances rather than dominates.

Food selections from chef Nicole Brisson's neighboring Italian restaurant, Brezza, provide competent accompaniment. The charcuterie board deserves mention—beautifully arranged artisanal meats, aged cheeses, and premium tapenade displayed against the impressive spirits backdrop.

Service maintains high standards despite occasional peak-hour slowdowns. Staff deploy encyclopedic knowledge with discretion, offering gentle guidance to newcomers without condescension.

Pricing reflects premium positioning without reaching absurd heights by Vegas standards. Cigars start reasonable but encourage trading up. Cocktails hover around $20-25—expensive but not shocking given preparation and setting. The VIP locker program, completely sold out at $5,000 annually, speaks to Eight's success in creating genuine exclusivity.

The real innovation lies in solving problems most cigar lounges simply accept. The ventilation breakthrough allows non-smokers to genuinely enjoy themselves. The outdoor option provides alternatives for those preferring tobacco with desert air and city lights.

Eight succeeds because it recognizes tradition and innovation need not be enemies. By preserving cigar culture's essential pleasures while eliminating obvious drawbacks, they've created something genuinely new: a smoking establishment non-smokers can enjoy, luxury that doesn't feel exclusionary, Vegas venue prioritizing substance over spectacle.

In a city built on indulgence with consequences, Eight offers something rarer than rare tobacco: pleasure...

On Nov 13th I was at this establishment with 10-12 friends on the patio. When I arrived there was no one working outside so I went to the bar and ordered from Jima (she was wonderful). She asked to hold my card which isn’t unusual. I told her I was paying cash at the end of the night. About a hour later a waitress (pregnant) came out and started taking orders from some of the late arrivals. I didn’t order from her but about 30 minutes later I received a text from my business credit card for $101.96. I went to the bartender Jima and she stated that she had to turn my bill over the the waitress and she most have did a hold ($101.96?). When asked about paying cash, they told me I could and the hood would be released within 2-3 business days. I was upset, but ok. End of the night and I go to pay cash only to find out that they placed my bill on one of the other guys (Randy’s) bill. As I was the only one drinking Jameson and Michelob Ultra, we knew it was mine. Total was $64 and I gave Randy $80 to cover tip. I was then assured from manager Ian, the pregnant waitress and Jima that the charges would be sent back to me as I signed nothing and already paid Randy. While at the airport on Monday Nov 14th I received an alert for payment of $125.96. I called them the next day to see what happened and spoke with Troy (who has been very nice). He told me that he would have a manager call me which never happened. I called again the next day and Troy answered again and stated that the managers aren’t in yet and that he had passed the message on and will do it again. I have contacted them at least 5 other times getting Troy 3 of them. I called once in the evening and I got a young lady that said two managers were in but both were busy. I asked to hold and she did only to come back and say that they were to busy and would call me back. I just decided I would dispute it with my credit card company which is investigating now. Two main issues!!! Where’s my call back from a manger and who signed my card and added a $24 tip. You would think that management would be all over this as they clearly have a dishonest person working there. Spoke with Troy today and did a Live on fb asking for help from my family and friends by not supporting this venue. I own a mobile cigar lounge in the DMV and I have been in business for over 35yrs. I would never treat my...

Giving me the run around about $125.96 that they stole from me. They can't find the receipt from Nov.13th, 2022 (full story post here back around Nov. 23rd). This has been the worst experience I have ever had in the cigar community. 1.) They charged my card (after telling them I was paying cash at the very beginning and wondering why they wanted to still hold my card), but it was my first time here and i figured that was what they do (charge a hold). 2.) They charged my card a 1.5hrs after being there $101.96 when the bartender switched my tab from her to the outside waitress where I was sitting. At that time I asked why the charge if I'm paying cash and was told by all three (Jima, Waitress and Ian the manager) that the charges would be sent back to my card in 2-3 business days. Not only did that not happen, but an additional $24 was added for $125.96 total. I can only think that the $24 was added as a tip that should have never happened. 3.) There is no signed card from me. But someone had to have signed for the card and tip and it wasn't me as I paid cash, $64 was my portion of an over $600 bill for 12 of us and I paid $80 total. 4.) Since my last review, I received 4 calls from management the morning after apologizing and leaving his direct number. I filed a claim with my card company (which later was reversed as someone at Eight told them it was a good charge). 5.) Now they can't find the receipt which would prove everything that I'm saying to be true. Who's the bookkeeper and mangers that you can misplace one receipt? I'm not a detective, but it appears to be a coverup for something or someone that committed fraud.

Call after call (at least 20) and text after text (at least another 20) and I still don't have my $125.96.... Shame on this place that so many have raved about and to me they're thieves and next I guess I'll have to file fraud charges and see if the police can put this to bed and get my money back.

Check your tab when leaving and...

Eight Cigar Lounge is hands-down one of the best places to relax and enjoy a premium cigar. The atmosphere is welcoming, upscale without being pretentious, and always comfortable. I want to give a special shout-out to Robbie at the bar—he always makes sure the drinks are on point and pairs them perfectly with what you’re smoking. His knowledge, friendly attitude, and attention to detail really elevate the whole experience. And in the cigar shop, Shannon is phenomenal. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, approachable, and always goes out of her way to help you find exactly what you’re looking for. Whether you’re new to cigars or a seasoned aficionado, Shannon makes the selection process easy and enjoyable. Between the top-notch staff, great vibe, and unmatched cigar selection, Eight Cigar Lounge is a must-visit. Robbie and Shannon truly make it a standout spot—I’ll definitely be back again and again.
