Truthfully one of the WORST experiences I’ve ever had in Vegas. For starters, the “restaurant” is literally in a hallway. You can see and hear everyone walking by. There’s no privacy or intimacy and for the price of everything that would have been a nice design. We got seated at 5:55, we were the only take there (3 left when we got there, 1 other table was seated already). We ordered 2 wines, tartare 2 ways, oysters, the uni risotto, and gnocchi.
The wine came freezing cold, and full of cork. Sent one wine back and got another. Tartare came by 6:15. It was ok.
We waited and waited. More tables came. They all got their food before we got everything else even though we ordered before everyone. By 7 we were pretty upset. We hadn’t gotten any oysters let alone our main courses. Everyone had cycled through their apps and were on main courses. We felt completely forgotten. We waived the waitress over because we had to get going as we had another reservation. We told them we want to cancel, and did not want our food.
2 mins later she comes out with both entrees in hand asking if we wanted them, and asking if we wanted them to go. No, because I’m pretty sure the 66 floor wouldn’t let us bring the food. They looked shocked when we refused and asked for the bill. They took one glass of wine off and only charged one wine and the app.
I’d never come back here. The fact that the som couldn’t even poor a glass of wine without cork in it was insane alone. This place is literally a hole in the wall. Every menu item is over $35 besides the fries. Your entrees come with nothing basically and the service absolutely sucks.
People work hard and they spend their hard earned money to come to a boujee place like this and expect service and quality. So sad to see restaurant managers and owners lacking responsibility, time management, execution, and quality of service. No wonder why the restaurant industry is dying. I saw no pride in ANY staff member working last night and it truly is a shame. We were so excited to find a place with caviar, and what seemed to be a luxe environment but it was...
Read moreWow is definitely the word to describe Aqua Seafood & Caviar! You can taste just how fresh everything is. We started with the Bluefin Toro, Oyster of the Day, and Oyster with Caviar. We are big seafood fans and hands down Aqua is of the highest quality, the caviar just burst with flavor and the oysters are to this day the best we have had. We followed with a fun Wagyu tasting experience recommended by the Chef Shaun Hergatt. This included a Miyazaki A5 Japanese Wagyu strip loin & an Australian Wagyu Strip loin. WOW… It is an absolute must have!! Both steaks were prepared to absolute perfection. So much flavor and texture, my mouth waters still just thinking about it. We also ordered the Chilean Sea Bass & Lobster Spaghetti Pomodoro. The Sea Bass had just enough spice and being served over potato espuma created the perfect dish. Now, about the Lobster Spaghetti, I would so consider this my comfort food. It just filled a spot that was warm and inviting. Last but not least a meal is never finished until you have dessert. We had the Dark Chocolate Soufflé and Cheesy Cheesecake. It was so fun seeing how each dessert was served! The staff was welcoming, kind, and knowledgeable. They cleared our table when needed and always made sure to refill our glasses just before they got too low. All around very happy with the meal, experience, and company it was shared with! We will...
Read moreService was ok. I went during a slow time, so I think the servers were feeling lackadaisical. There was so much staff but nobody eating there, so they were busy doing nothing. I do like the ambiance. It's a cool vibe. Low lighting provides a relaxing atmosphere. Being that nobody was seated, I did wonder why it took so long for the food to come. I only ordered crab cakes and a tuna steak tartar. I did notice that the food didn't taste fresh. The crab cakes were barely warm and had a little stale taste. Like I said, it wasn't busy, so I'm not sure why they wouldn't be more warm. They also could have been a little more moist. The tuna was also so firm. Almost like it was stale. I typically like it a little softer. I should be able to cut through the tuna with the side of my fork, but it actually needed a knife. Also, the crab cakes were pretty small balls. I wouldn't call them cakes. Both were just OK. Nothing really spectacular. The price didn't really match the quality, which is why I give a lower rating. Earlier, I asked if I needed a reservation, and the hostess told me yes. One, I was by myself, and there's seating at the bar. And two, literally no one was there. Weekend night, and they were dead. Casino was busy, but nobody was going to this place. I really wanted to like this place, but it just didn't...
