Mary's Cakes — Local services in Las Vegas

I unfortunately knew that this was going to be the outcome. I did lots of research and was referred to Mary’s cakes after Winston Marie was booked. Mary’s cakes was the worst customer service experience. Cake was good and aesthetically pleasing to the eye, but believe the reviews that share the lack of communication experience. I repeatedly reached out to confirm a slight change in font coloring only for ONE number… several months before my wedding date and texted to confirm the request was accepted the week of the wedding. I was sent a receipt and texted acknowledging that the information was received and still the cake was done incorrectly. Do not reach out via email they do not respond. Text them if you choose to book them. They also do not notify you until the day of your event when they plan to deliver. I was notified about 10 minutes before my event. Please do not blame this on being a “small business”. You are a business and if you cannot keep up with the clientele then do not accept so many orders. It may not be a big deal but we paid in FULL ahead of time just for you to make a careless mistake that seemed purposeful for my reaching out multiple times when you would not respond to a simple confirmation question. Our cake looked dumb… no thank you for your response or attempt to justify...

This is THE best cake bakery in Las Vegas, without a doubt. First of, Mary's Cakes is owned by a hardworking family and I love seeing the connection between their customers and family. I love supporting businesses like this that truly care about their community and customers. I first ordered from Mary's Cakes in 2016 and I've been a loyal customer ever since. The cakes are delicious, fresh and moist. The actual flavor of even their buttercream is delicious and one of my favorites. Also, I have tried the cake jars which are amazing, banana pudding is my favorite. They're a great size and come in a reusable mason jar-yay for sustainability! Every Tuesday they have a deal and once you've reached 10 jars you even get a freebie! We love a loyalty program.

Lastly, Mary's Cakes makes THE MOST DELICIOUS strawberries!!! They're so full of flavor and the chocolate they use compliments it amazingly. Every year I ask my boyfriend for the roses + strawberries combination box from Mary's Cakes because it's so good and beautifully presented.

I ordered a cake from Mary’s Cakes for my husband & I first wedding Anniversary. They were able to accommodate a Friday pick up, well, my husband happened to go into the ER & having emergency surgery & our daughter was in the dr office for being sick as well, so needless to say I was not even thinking of the cake and I completely spaced reading the message from them that stated I needed to pick up the cake by 12 Friday. They called around 12 and stayed later for me to be able to pick it up. They were so accommodating and polite when I’m sure they were probably frustrated not realizing the chaos going on in my world. Their politeness, professionalism & willingness to stay a little bit longer for me to still get this cake was so appreciated! The cake turned out so perfect, tasted amazing and it was a wonderful surprise for when my husband was able to come back home after surgery! I will definitely be ordering from them more and referring them...
