My bf was in the Trauma Center (he was in emergency room I ran room and came back 4-6am) and I had the emergency room send me to Trauma Care through the garage. As soon as I enter the Mexican Security checker (Bald shorter mustache man) and desk lady was Hispanic as well she was lighter/younger with long dark curly hair. They both had attitude when I walked in, first telling me my bf wasn’t there when I just FaceTimed him and saw the doctor. The Mexican security wasn’t trying to help and trying to make me leave. I told him I’m not leaving until I get to my bf. He said the Charge doctor had to call and the Charger Doctor was on FaceTime trying to tell them to Call him. Finally after the rude ugly security left the desk lady started to acknowledge me and finally call and after 30 minutes of me waiting finally send me to the back so I can get to my boyfriend who is in serious condition it makes no sense that the doctor was on FaceTime telling them to call him and they were still making it difficult for me and then once I got my pass and was sent to the back the desk woman gave me the completely wrong instructions on how to get to where I was going and I ran into the same Mexican Security as I was trying to find my boyfriend‘s unit just for him to still make a snarky remark, and as soon as he enters back to the desk worker, I hear him laughing as loud as he can. I feel that they were being disrespectful and discriminating if I do see this security again when I have to return, considering this is the hospital closest to my house I will report him and I will call every day if I have to to report his behavior and get him fired because that’s not acceptable in a place where people Have loved ones that are dying and going through serious Conditions. The black gentleman security at the emergency room was so kind to me it didn’t make any sense why the Mexican security was so rude. That type of behavior will make people wait for Mexican security to get off work and talk about his actions one on one if you know what I mean. My bf ended up leaving the hospital because one of the ladies checking his blood pressure was being so disrespectful, the doctor begged us not to leave. It’s embarrassing for a hospital that patients on their dead beds want to leave do to the attitude problem all the staff seem to have. Def not paying those medical bills 🤣 thanks...
Read moreI went to vegas for a vacation, on the first night of our trip I experienced severe abdominal pain and nonstop vomiting for 12hrs. I went straight to ER after dropping off our luggage to the hotel to get help, pain was very bad that I cant even walk. Waited for 3-4hrs in the ER before they called me. They draw blood and stuff on me at the back and made me wait for another 3-4hrs for the result. They gave me IV cause i was so dehydrated, nausea and pain meds. They didnt give me any blanket while I was in the waiting room (it was cold), I got the blanket after my ct scan where the staff told me i could bring it with me. Waited hours again before they told me i need to be admitted and get my surgery done the next day (gallbladder surgery). I told them I was just here for vacation and I needed to fly back home in 3days.
Fast forward I got my bed at around 10-11pm. Didnt eat anything cause i will be having a surgery the next morning at 9am. My husband came early at 8am, we waited the whole day and asked the nurse about the update? Nobody went to see us or talked to us the entire day, 6pm when they told us the surgery will be postponed the next day again. I didnt eat the whole day because they said Im gonna have the surgery, the nurses panicked because they worried with my food its already 6pm and they have to order my food. My husband was mad because we waited the whole day since 9am and there was no communication with whats gonna happen.
Good thing the Filipino nurses at TCU were so sweet and caring. They took good care of me very well especially Ma'am Imelda. I forgot the name of the other one but they really accommodated us and my husband because we were so frustrated that nobody talked to us or tell us what's gonna...
Read moreConsidering the circumstances of how busy this location is/was; I was grateful to be in and out in 3 hours, for a swollen leg (cellulitis), due to a skateboarding injury I received 9 days before I walked into the emergency room.
There was a line to get registered, but a nurse bright her triage equipment into the waiting lobby, to get everyone’s vitals, ahead of their visit with a doctor.
My leg was x-rayed quickly, with very special, cordial service, as was the ultrasound, which included a dignified push in a wheelchair, by the specialist, herself, so I didn’t have to walk the maze of the hospital, with my hurting leg.
I was discharged with a few medications, including antibiotics and a topical cream, to reduce infection, and given instructions to return in a couple days, particularly, if my condition worsened, or did not improve. I had CVS, nearby, fill my prescription.
I noticed my street name was spelled incorrectly, on my paperwork, and I tried calling, to have the record corrected, but no one answered, and I didn’t want to go back, so I left it alone.
Given the quantity of people they serve; it’s understandable why service takes time, but the professionals here work like a well orchestrated team, as efficient, as one could expect, under reasonable circumstances.
I prefer service here, over any hospital in any other country I’ve visited. Gratitude is the attitude. If you receive service here; remember to be kind, and express gratitude to the people that serve you; they’re...
