My first time shopping at the location in Laurel was very poor but one of the sales floor associates made up for it by assisting me with finding the right size of my desired shoe preference. There were only 3 personnel on duty when I arrived at the store. As I approached the counter to check out, associate 115775 listed on my receipt was so engrossed in her conversation with her friend and the other sales floor associate who was sitting behind the counter aside from her barely acknowledged me. She briefly made eye contact with me to confirm the shoes that were held at the counter were for me. Than, she continued her conversation not even greeting me. Once I had completed my purchase she placed my receipt in my bag and handed it to me without even making eye contact to to tell to have a nice day. Her and the other associate who worked along side her were both very rude. The other young lady saw me standing at the shoe display viewing the different selections and didn't ask me if I needed help. I will never shop at this location again nor will I refer my friends and family there in the future. For this reason I support online shopping 100% because I don't have to deal with rude employees and poor customer service, I don't have to leave my house and stand in line to checkout my purchase. Read more1/9/2022, I had called this store for a shoe that I was exchanging and was told by the manager they have the shoe in the size I was looking for. When I got there, an associate asked me if was returning the shoe I placed on the counter and I said I am here to exchange for a different size. The manager just finished up with another customer and barked out ,"WHAT SIZE DO YOU WANT?!" I looked at her like she lost her mind and answered," I'm here for the size 12." She said," We don't have that size ." I said, " You said you did over the phone ." She said, " I thought we did but I found out we didn't. It's a new shoe and don't do holds." I corrected her and said, " That shoe is new to this store, but it's not new ." The Jordan retro hand crafted released 12/18/21. She kept arguing and had to stop and say, " What's with all the attitude?" She answers, " I don't have an attitude . We don't have a 12 have a nice day!" Walked away to the stockroom with me saying to her while she was walking, " No need to have your drawers in a bunch and I left the store in total discust and felt I wasted time coming to a store with a so-called manager acting like that. Read moreI went in to have my 14 mos old grandson “Tifari” sized. We were fall shopping and *Maya assisted in sizing him and getting the shoes from the back. I appreciate her patience with the baby because he was super busy and active while she was trying to size him. She was kind and very hands on. Thank you Maya!
I absolutely appreciate John H. He rung us up. He was so genuine and kind. He made sure we had a great shopping experience. What I appreciate the most is the fact that while standing the box of shoes upright he called out the shoe sizes to make sure they were accurate and not only that, he followed up by checking each shoe. Most shoe stores do not do that. He needs to be acknowledged and that should be apart of the customer service model! Thank you John for making sure we got the correct sizes !!!!
By the way …. I have been to this location many times and customer service is not on the list. Majority if not every time I have gone in, the staff is too hood, non chalant, NEVER smile and always take too long to say “how may I help you?” I only go to this location because I live close…… JOHN AND MAYA reps this...
