My sister and I place two separate online orders for curbside pickup at the location in Laurel, MD. When I arrive to the location, I call the phone that was outside for curbside orders. No one picked up, even though I could see employees inside. I tried calling through the website and got a person, whom I assume works at a call center. All she did was transfers me and they still didn’t pick up. So I had to go inside. The reason for me doing curbside is I try to avoid indoor establishments outside of my home when possible due to the pandemic. I have a elderly mother who is still recovering from having COVID related symptoms back in March 2020. My aunt who also lived with my mom, passed away in March 2020 after testing positive for COVID. So my reasons for limiting my exposure when outside of my home is a big deal because of what my family as been through. In addition, I have chronic knee pain. Upon entering the restaurant I asked to speak to a manager. When I told the managers Marcus and Chris about my issue of them no answering the phone for curbside, by hru acted like the phone was working. Then the manager Chris goes looking for the phone which was in the back somewhere. So I asked that I be compensated in some way for the inconvenience. I was told by Marcus that they couldn’t compensate me. I told him that wasn’t going to work and they at least needed to credit me back for my prepaid tip. All they offered me was one small foundation drink cup. I told him the cost of a small foundation drink was not enough to cover the cost of what I tipped, which was over $4 just for my order not including my sister’s order. Since they were being rude and dismissive to me, I asked for a full refund. No one should have to experience rude and dismissive behavior when trying to patronize a business especially during a pandemic. I was so hurt by the experience. I was having a difficult day as well because I am still very much grieving my aunt’s passing. For Marcus and Chris to be managers mistreating customers is not acceptable. I also asked for the name and number of the area manager, only for Marcus to tell me to leave reviews on Google and Yelp. That is bad for business to inform a customer to leave a bad review, when all could have avoided by them providing good customer service or giving me to information for the area manager. Marcus and Chris should reconsider being employed in the food industry and dealing with customers with the attitudes they have. I will never patronize this...
Read moreI am adjusting my review of my favorite pizza place. Back story: I'm gluten free due to digestive issues and this chain has by far the BEST gluten free pizza! Their gluten free green stripe pizza is my absolute favorite! However, this location has made me hate getting pizza....and that's a STRONG statement. I order online frequently, and literally, everytime I do...the pizza is wrong. It's the wrong crust, they forgot ingredients, they didn't cut it, etc. This hasn't just happened once or twice - it happens EVERY TIME I've ordered over the last few months. But tonight was the last straw. I am currently sitting here at the location with my pizza that took THREE tries and over THIRTY MINUTES to get correct and THEN they didn't cut it and handed it to me hot. My partner is currently sitting here with cold pizza because he wouldn't eat without me. It takes a LOT to make me mad, and I'm infuriated. I had to take my pizza back THREE times and had to basically jump up and down to get the staff's attention. It's unacceptable to treat a hungry customer that way, and you LITERALLY have a parchment paper with instructions to tell you how to make the pizza. It's not like I made up an elaborate order...it's on the menu board JUST with the gluten free crust. I am never coming back to this location, and it's such a shame. When they actually get it right, the pizza is amazing but I just haven't lucked. If you're gluten free, be prepared to be disappointed a lot. Save your time and money and...
Read moreI love blaze pizza as far as the taste and concept however I've had alot of issues with customer service and then switched to delivery and its NEVER made right missing ingredients. For some reason this location does not like the drizzles? When I would come in then close ur box and say ur name so I would ask may I please get drizzle on my pizzas it was this whole ordeal and attitude came with it ? I didn't understand why they wouldnt ask do u want drizzles before closing the box if it upsets them that much Anyways my husband loves this place as do I so we just dealt w the attitude until last month (we kept getting blackened very blackened bottom ash on the pizza ) I asked the manager the woman if she could sweep before since I saw it was really built up and u cant taste the 0izza thru the burnt taste and she said no laughed and turned. So that was the last time I physically came to the location. Then we tried delivery and this is the 3rd delivery spending 40 plus dollars and its wrong. They just dont do the last part of the order and it has asterisks on the order ticket on the box. Oh also the kids there working never mentioned there was a point system and tried to give my receipt to her friends for my 37 dollars worth of points. This location could be good if they had a manager who cared and wasnt friends w their staff like literally joking around talking disengaging w customers and had attitude.
