A MUST GO!!! THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD!!! This was my first time checking our Mission BBQ, from one visit I am now a loyal customer. Upon arriving I was welcomed by the entire staff. While placing my order I felt so bad because I was taking so long to look over the menu. Everything looked delicious! The cashier was so patient and kind. After placing my order, apologizing for being so indecisive, and explaining it was my first visit, I was given a complimentary drink for being a first time customer! Such a small but kind gesture. After the kitchen staff heard it was my first time they were so kind in explaining to me the different sauces and giving advice on which sauce paired the best with items on the menu. This was all done on their own accord voluntarily. I ended my visit with a warm farewell from staff. I'm already planning to visit again tomorrow! In addition to the EXCELLENT customer service the half chicken was phenomenal! Plenty of chicken, I actually have enough chicken leftover to make another meal! (Chicken tacos). I tried the Mac & Cheese and it's a 7/10. For reference Chick-fil-A's is a 10/10 for me. It needed more cheese sauce, especially since they use bread crumbs. The sweet & spicy BBQ sauce they have is lovely! Once again the customer service I received was enough to make me add this to my regular dining out rotation. The food being great BBQ was a happy...
Read moreI can not deny that the food is good, but this place is built on honoring military, police and fire and does not offer a military discount. I mean seriously, I get a 10% discount from the Pakistani ice cream shop. I read that the owners are not veterans and they are raping our young Soldiers who love their food. They play the National Anthem at 1200 noon right before charging you $12.00 for an ounce of meat, but the community allows it so who am I to complain. They are even allowed on the military installations and sell their food inside of government buildings but still no discount. I am not looking for a handout but a little appreciation would go a long way. Hell, 5% would be good enough because without police, fire and definitely the military in this area Mission BBQ would be Mission Failed. The owners say their goal is to generate $100 million in revenue but all I get is 1 rib for $2.00 and no military discount. Some appreciation. These guys are getting rich on account of those who lost their lives, limbs and minds. All I hear is "Thanks for your service, here is a banana pudding on me". Banana pudding??? How about a little off of that $2.00 bone that...
Read moreWOW. I have found a new favorite place to eat. Its name is Mission BBQ. Received a gift card and took my family there to celebrate the wife's birthday. She, the kids and myself had a great experience. The food was great. I BBQ often and they are doing it right. No microwaves, big smokehouse in the back, and a variety of delicious sauces to tailor the food to just how you like it.
The patriotic decor and atmosphere was very comfortable and seems genuine, not just a gimmick. Love all the patches and memorabilia on the walls. Not just nation-wide organizations, but LOCAL public servants are displayed prominently throughout.
The staff was on-point. Will and Jeff went out of their ways to engage with our whole family, kids included. They found out it was my wife's birthday and gave her special attention throughout our stay.
All this happened during lunch, on a weekday... It was BUSY. Despite the number of customers enjoying themselves throughout they still made it feel like their only purpose was to take care of us. We will be coming back... and...
