Vivi Trendsetter — Local services in Laurel

My experience was similar to the previous reviews below. I decided to stop by the laurel location for an event. When I arrived and began browsing, who I later found out was the manager, an asian woman with glasses ran from the back of the store/register to greet me with harassment. She repeatedly asked me if I needed anything when I explicitly stated I just arrived and am looking. I was dressed nicely and carried a small designer bag, which could only fit my wallet/AirPods/keys. Another customer stated that she felt racially profiled by this same employee or manager when asked to try on the clothing, and mentioned that she was a frequent customer. The manager never apologized for her behavior, which is customer service 101, and proceeded to argue with the customer who remained poised and respectful. I went shopping here for my first time because they have trendy and fashion forward styles on the mannequins in the window. I was looking for a last minute dress for a wedding reception and I found the perfect dress. Everyone in thr store assisted me and even Help me with accessories. They were all pleasant and really excited for me and even the manager came over to hover to help me find the perfect outfit. I am really glad that I came in here to shop. They have a they have a great selection of outfits for all occasions andense and they have items in plus sizes which is helpful considering it is harder to find dresses dresses for special occasions and large sizes. The assistant manager in the front of the store is beyond incompetent. Purchased a blouse for my friend, friend tried it on the next morning and noticed a tear in the seam. Went back to the store and tried to exchange for a higher priced item, but was instead told that they don’t sell there items with tears at the seams. I informed her that clearly they did, because they sold it to me with a tear. She then proceed to say that she wasn’t there the day before when I came in but if she was there she would’ve checked the item out before selling it to me.
