My husband tried to fix cracked glass on our iPad due to the pandemic and most repair stores were closed. Bad idea! He tore the home button and ultimately damaged the LCD display. We reached out to thumbtack for help. Budget Repair was the first to respond! He helped diagnose our issue online within a few questions and offered to repair for a very reasonable price. But that was just the start! As an essential employee, our schedules were not working out for us to drop off for the repair. We reached out with the dilemma and within minutes he had sent a postage paid label for us to send it to him! He alerted us the minute he received it and kept us updated on the progress throughout—even sending pictures along the way! Once complete he shipped it back quickly and carefully packaged. I came to Budget Repair to back up my laptop that would not even turn on. The battery had expanded to the point of cracking the touch pad. The server I brought with my computer was very complicated and I no longer needed the advanced functions it provided over a much simpler external hard drive. An external hard drive that is MUCH more user friendly than my server, was suggested via a live link to Amazon. All I had to do was tap look over the specs and reviews and purchase. Saved me tons of time wading through all the potential options. For one very reasonable fee, my laptop was backed up and later installed on my replacement laptop. He was available to personally help me set up my new computer and gave me quite an education on what I could expect going forward with my new laptop as it ages. So I'm actually writing this review on the device that was repaired. My chromebook had a cracked hinge and a small part of the screen was opening up. I originally took my chromebook to uBreakiFix as it was only a five minute walk from my apartment. They were able to diagnose the problem and said they could make the repairs. They needed to order a certain part first and told me they'd call me once it arrived. Nearly three weeks later, still no call, so I went in to ask. They apologized and said they had the part, but it turned out to be the wrong one. Of course I wasn't going to wait any longer, so I took my service to this amazing place called Budget Repair. When I explained everything, Prabh immediately knew what was wrong and what to do. I left my chromebook in his care as he said it would be ready by Monday. ( I went in on a Thursday, I believe).
