I’ve never left a comment like this but feel others should know how poorly my group of friends was treated at this boutique. Our bridal party walked inside, and while we were a larger group, we let the store owner know that if she wanted some of us to wait outside that we’d be more than happy to but were assured it was okay that our whole group come in. However, a few minutes after we came inside, we heard the store owner talking rather loudly outside the opened door of the store to other customers and talking poorly of our group saying “we were just some bridal party not even doing real shopping” and “they scared me when they walked in. I didn’t think we were doing things like this right now.” Most of us were planning on buying a little something but changed our mind after that. Not a great way to attract and encourage customers to #shoplocal like the outside of their store says. All of us were wearing masks and were nothing but respectful of their space so I’m not sure what prompted the poor customer treatment. Hopefully others do not experience this on a fun day out...

My mom had a pretty disheartening interaction with the sales associate today. She was shopping last minute for a gala event. We all know Lawrence has limited shopping options for formal dresses. The associate made several off color comments insinuating she was too old to be trying on their formal dresses asking if she was shopping as a proxy and suggesting she go to a mother-of-the-bride store in Kansas City as their selection might be more fitting. It was not necessarily what she said but the undertone in her comments that made my mom feel diminished. This was incredibly disappointing, my mom is 50 and fit and beautiful and it's hard to find dresses that are in between matronly and teen... No matter what the intended age of their clothing selection is, I would hope that associates would aim to make their customers feel beautiful, welcome, and empowered rather than insecure and belittled. My mom felt very discouraged after looking here and no longer wanted to go to the event. I would suggest posturing your store with empathy and kindness if you want to retain...

I just love this place ❤️ Morgan has really helped me step up my wardrobe game! I get so many compliments on the outfits she has picked out for me. Price wise, a lot of the items are copies of more expensive fashion for the season but at a lower price. There is never a time where I walk in to her store and not leave with something...
