Kansas Crown Discount Liquor does not deserve one star. The owners are unapologetic ableists who wrongfully accused a disabled woman of shoplifting, called the police to file a report, then deserted their "case" after it had progressed to the court. The court tossed the citation for theft due to the repeated no show of the owners at the court's scheduled proceedings and insufficient evidence. The result of their inhumane treatment toward the wrongfully accused has been far reaching and extremely detrimental to her well being and sense of self worth. To ridicule and add burden to the most vulnerable in our society is unconscionable. They shamed a loyal customer, took away a place of comfort from someone who often suffers harassment due to people lacking a conscience or awareness. I will never patronize this establishment again and further encourage others to shop elsewhere as well. Their service isn't simply "Poor", it is...

Very bad experience. Came in to buy 2 bottles of Italian sparkling wines that I asked to be wrapped as Christmas presents. The young boy behind the counter had zero idea of what I wanted. I then asked for 2 six packs of Budweiser tall boy, grunted they are back there. I told said boy that I am 60 and that is too heavy for me to carry. The other boy very resentful got them. I asked for the wines to be packaged in wine wrapping. Apparently this was difficult for him to configure, therefore I asked for 2 more bags. I asked for a box to carry them in. I next stated my Uber would active in 10 minutes. I was told to go wait at the Laundromat next door as if I were a transient. Not asked told. This liquor store's prices are SO good, I used to drive across town for the savings! The staff is knowledgeable and friendly and the selection is immense. There is always always something new to try, and if you can't find exactly what you're looking for (I'd be surprised) they'd definitely order it for you. They even have the REALLY fancy bottles of booze. The wine selection is vast. The shelves always fully stocked, and they do an fantastic job of keeping the place clean and dusted. In all of the years I've been shopping there, I've never had a single complaint....
