The fellow who runs Lawrence Feed is a gem. I always look forward to chatting with him. The store may look small compared to the big box farm stores, but it holds an amazing variety of supplies-- a good selection of feeds, all the things you need for basic vetting of livestock and pets, and even some fun stuff like birdfeeders. The big stores don't always have lower prices, but even when they do, I'd rather support this locally owned business. The personal connection is worth whatever few pennies I might save. Absolutely wonderful. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. My dog has terrible food allergies and this was my first visit. I came in with a list of things he can't eat and specific brands/ foods approved by the vet. Staff took the time to review the lists and walk me through possible options.
