I've been searching around trying to find a liquor store that sold Sugarlands Shine "moonshine" close to me. I live in Trenton, Ohio. Apparently it is against state law for it to be shipped here "by the distillery" but other companies around the country will ship it here of course for ridiculously priced shipping costs like EVERYTHING else. So I started searching for stores in Kentucky & Indiana because they will ship there. I do have a friend who lives in KY. but still I don't want to pay for shipping. Well I found Whiteys. I was looking for the 50th anniversary NASCAR OFFICIAL COLLECTORS jars. I actually bought 2 of the 3 in Gatlinburg at Sugarlands but foolishly drank them. I found the 2 ones I drank & had them shipped from California. They are increasing dramatically in value. The one I was missing was the Bristol Motor Speedway jar which I had bought in Gatlinburg & drank too. Well Whiteys had it & for $5 less than Sugarlands in Gatlinburg, TN. So now I have the entire set & doubles on the Talladega Super Speedway which was the 1st one made. That particular one is selling for as high as $70 depending on which website you look at. They also have a great variety of other Sugarlands Shine like the delicious peach Shine. They also have the Ol' Smoky moonshine but I don't really care for it. Otherwise the store is large & well stocked in most whatever you may desire for your evenings of cocktails of foolish nights of drunken delights coupled with puking your brains out. All of you mixing necessities as well. It is within driving distance for me since my wife works in Harrison or if you'd prefer to get some "Sugarlands Shine" & not drive 5+ hours to Gatlinburg, TN. Go...
Read moreThe two workers there at 4pm today, July 20, 2024, were the rudest and lacked basic customer service skills! While reaching for an item on display the customer hit a flamingo on display and it accidentally caused a several plastic jars to fall. The guy behind the counter huffed about it and the lady just stood there. The customer started picking them up without any help or a word from employees. The correct thing would have been to say don't worry about it, or let us help you, or at the very least thank you. But no they instead were rude about it. They were olny buying about $50 worth of stuff, but it was not the first time this weekend because everyone's attending a charity function here in Lawrenceburg, so there were and has been lots of others buying too. But I can assure you we told everyone about it at the event. We will continue to do the same! The liquor store down towards Aurora is where the next 4...
Read more*Everyone here is seems pleasantly pleased to make your acquaintance. If you ask for assistance or a recommendation, *they are always willing to help with a good recommendation. Plus, IF you have an ear for good music, you can get hip to a cool band. But music, like liquor, is a matter of personal preference. I occasionally work out of State and I will drive 2+ hours back to THIS particular store because of the brief but pleasant interaction with the employees, and because…it’s illegal to drink & drive. But mostly for the friendly smiles and good vibes. Believe...
